My charts recommend defending small-mid pairs approximately 50% of the time facing 3 bets from various positions.
Im wondering what would happen if i turned them into pure calls? What is the downside and upside to this?

Hm interesting thought... i guess you could just bet more merged range for small size? To deny equity... but i feel were just getting called soo much and winning the pot ver infrequently... but im a fish still so i have no idea

i assume two pair combos will raise the flop at a very high frequency but i might be wrong here..

I think 3 betting is good, we do have a good mutiway hand but getting some fold equity and potentially playing a Heads up pot instead of 3 way or even picking up the pot preflop is never a bad thing...
Sizingwise i would go for 5x i do think this is a bit small oop 3 way.
On the flop i think 1/3 does the same job as a larger sizing... i think population might even fold 99 at high frequency vs 1/3 cbet

versus UTG i like it more because people will have stronger ranges=more implied odds

Post | Tonyzer posted in NLHE: BB defending 22-55 vs STEAL

facing a 2-3x open Im wondering is it even profitable to call baby pairs VS a relatively wide standard stealing range?
im primarily asking versus CO and BTN steals when we are OOP.
these hands seems absolutely horrendous at realizing equity especially OOP.
there dont seem to be a whole lot of implied odds againts a wide range, thats why i would prefer defending versus an early position opener.
also i am curious to see how these hands do in your databases if you have a big enough sample size...
this is a post more intended to spark a conversation than looking for a YES or NO answer...

43.10 AsQs you go for a smaller 3b size than usual why is that? Your standard IP size seems to be 3.5x but you go 2.6x here?

facing a min raise 6BB with 9To can i flat here and play fit or fold postflop?

can i flat some hands here in general and play fit or fold post?

not really used to seeing villians min raise at this stack depth so i ended up just 3b shoving as if i was facing a shove but very interesting spot for me.

thx in advance :)
