This is pretty close to what my thought process at the time was to be fair

Blinds: $0.01/$0.02 (6 Players) BN: $7.45 (Hero)
SB: $6.65
BB: $2.59
UTG: $5.31
MP: $1.79
CO: $1.61
Have only 4 hands on villain and he was 0/0 over them
CO is 100/0 over 1 hand
Preflop ($0.03) Hero is BN with Q 8
2 folds, CO calls $0.02, Hero raises to $0.08, SB folds, BB calls $0.06, CO calls $0.06
Feel like this is a pretty standard isolation vs the loose passive fish
Flop ($0.25) Q Q A
BB checks, CO checks, Hero bets $0.16, BB raises to $0.32, CO folds, Hero calls $0.16
Feel like i'm either super far ahead or super behind. Given my position on villain i don't see much point in getting myself all in here.
Turn ($0.89) Q Q A 4
BB bets $0.86, Hero calls $0.86
Fairly standard i believe
River ($2.61) Q Q A 4 3
BB checks, Hero
This is where i get a bit confused. I was expecting a bomb on the river but villain stops. Is betting here too thin value? Now i'm looking back at this i feel like this is a fairly standard bet spot.

Hand History | VivaLaCrayon posted in NLHE: NL10 Zoom, line check
BN: $24.91
SB: $13.99
BB: $13.67
UTG: $13.06
HJ: $10.10
CO: $24.18 (Hero)
Villain is 0/0 over 3 hands, so readless but can assume to some degree non fishy.
Preflop ($0.15) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt 5 5
UTG folds, HJ folds, Hero raises to $0.30, BN folds, SB calls $0.25, BB folds
Flop ($0.70) 2 K A (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.48, SB raises to $1.16, Hero calls $0.68
Really can't see what hands he raises here. It seems like it's 22 or air, given the small raise size would weight even further towards air.
Turn ($3.02) 2 K A 6 (2 Players)
SB bets $1.70, Hero calls $1.70
After his flop raise i would imagine he barrels most turns?
River ($6.42) 2 K A 6 Q (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $4
Given the check and he may have done this with some 77-TT hands i bet as i feel my hand isn't strong enough to bluff catch.

Can we not put alot of Axxx flush draws in his range or do we expect him to c/r them on the flop/turn? Just seems we don't even have the best bluff catching hand some of the time.

Just looked up my PT4 hands so far:

When bet river myself: Won 101 hands / Lost 23
When calling a river bet: Won 13 hands / Lost 37

Is this fairly standard or obvious signs of an huge leak?

Yea i think baby steps are definitely the way to go, next session i'll see what i can manage :)

That's my thing i've always done this so it feels it's part of my 'A game' in some way as it doesn't seem to effect my play in any other way besides making these calls. But making these calls are costing me soooo much money i really think it's the difference between me being a decent winner at my stakes and a decent winner.

I think thats something i really need to work on, emotionally detaching myself. I had started doing this by playing more tables and stacking them so i don't have as much time to think and go with whats first in my head i don't have time to level myself. But being new to PLO i can't play that many and therefore tile them so i'll have to find a new way to help emotionally detach  myself!

Well that's my thing i do stop and think and while thinking i know i'm beat yet the fold button never seems to exist.. It's like i need to call to prove i was right i was beat, it probably sounds super dumb but it's how my mind works at the moment unfortunately..

Feb. 3, 2014 | 5:47 p.m.

Fairly standard river spot, i know i'm beat but i have to call because i feel its unfair he's drawn out on me.. I turned a flush board pairs on the river and he shoves all in for pot i know i'm beat but i have to call anyway..

I'm not talking about a specific hand but just a general position i find myself in, so many of my sessions are losing sessions because of this dumb mentality. Is there any tips to begin to get over this stupid thinking & mental block?

Just comparing the 2 websites alone before watching any of the video content shows the huge gulf in quality. I don't think you can beat the schedule here especially with the range and quality of videos provided.

Sorry i'm new to PLO but why on earth would we ever fold the nuts? Do hands actually have more equity than the nuts?

For someone just starting out in PLO this video is hugely insightful for opening ranges, something i've been struggling with by position! Looking forward to Part. 2!
