Very interesting, i use to find theory videos a bit dull for my taste but these series have caught my attention. Don´t know whether this is due to your hability for concretness and clear explanations or that im getting wiser lately :D

Nice one, took some ideas out of the bluffing spots which im currently developing myself. Laughted out loudly regards to the limping player with 47 vpip stats: " he is out of control"

I grow up a lot with this one. Im the kind who used to call that "good" conected cards like 34o and 3 beting cards with "blocking" potential like Kx in HU. So the explanation of the reverse been true is priceless. Another very helpfull inside was the discution on checking back flops either protecting your whole range or bluffing at a more rate succes with hands like 45s who otherwise would be ill advised bluffs. Thanks.

Hero really looked like another player in this part, luckily, so we lern a lot from the missed spots and some advice on how important to keep pressure up is. I used to tighten up also at that later stages.

Congratulations Owen Shiels, i´ve seen a lot of videos from you already but this rewiew seems more like a complete course on beating micro stakes and getting a solid general fundaments in poker. Whenever i have the chance im gonna buy your MTT series. Thanks.

The explanations in this video are pure gold if you digg a bit into them. Example: the 3 bet size in botton with KK, " This is the way you should be thinking, raising keeping in mind the whole range you would do it" (not literal :) ) and so on.

Comment | Yojimbo commented on Can I overcall here?

Im not much into the math here but i would probably call. You are way ahead of the utg all in and i think the botton is jamming there with worst pairs than you, many overcads that you are flpping against and ocasionlly some dominated aces. Close one.

Also, would have been better to know a bit about the player in sb, how loose, tight he is and so on. I see you 4x pre, i think 3x is quite ok there unless you only wanna raise your value hands and have zero bluffs.

Seems good to me, i would bet a litle less on that flop. I like the all in in the turn been the pot as big as it is. stpr is close to one and i can see worst J,6,7s, straight draws and othe pairs to come along on flop. Even some floats against his perceive range against you who does not match the flop. I dont see much Qs in his range either to float the flop. Very unlucky run out.

I chose this one today because i have a 6 max micro/low stakes sesion to play out this afternoon.Found the perfect one for it, the level of detail is awesome and to the point relative to how the player pool at these stakes play. Great inspiration.

Hello RIO comunity,

I recently wached a proview HH, in concret that of Lankyross in the big $11.

When i first saw the video i was surprised to find out that it was actually a dual proview. Both Jeremy Menard and Owen Shiels made their separate vids of the HH and it looks it was a coincidence ´cause neither of them says a word about the other.

It turned out to be a very valuable insight from 2 different pros into a concrete pack of situations.

So, what about make these kind of vids a monthly or so event?

Let´s say we submit our HHs, pros chose one every month and then two pros make their separate vid.

That alone would be great and im sure it has been already done but i would add a third HH review: that of the player who submitted the HH.

That way we would have a combined vision which would be hightly educational.

Thanks for reading.

Im surprised no one comment on the fact that this hand review was done both by Jeremy Menard and Owen Shiels. So we got two different views from 2 excellent MTTs pros.

Nice vid to get back the fundamentals. WhatArunAA explains very clear his thougt process. I would recomend it to anybody coming back to the tables after some time away.

Good vid, the talk on bvb the better of it. Basic stuff but always useful to go back to it.

March 30, 2020 | 2:48 p.m.

Great analysis. Also good to know your nickname in the pokerstars.es site so that i leave you alone if we meet at the tables :)

I try always to post positive coments whenever i like the vid and shut up when i dont but this vid irritated me a lot. I watched half of it and had to finally quit despite the interesting topic. That constant jumps from hand to hand not ever focusing got me mad. I will try more vids from this pro because he had a clear english talk that i apreciate and im sure he has many value content but not this time. Jae Kim sorry for the critic but those were my feelings, i look forward to your other vids.

Learnt a lot about ICM on that final table pushes, thanks

Great series but a terrible sound in this last episode. Sad because it was interesting to see the short hand play and HU.

March 24, 2020 | 3:26 p.m.

Great vid, i also like hand history rewiews where you can go in a more depth like this one. Even hands not played i would like to see them include briefly so as to be aware of spots missed along with a taste of game flow. That´s my ever favourite kind of vid but any material suits me fine. Thanks Owen.

So sad that last hand... very nice series and well played, i enjoyed and learned a lot from them, thanks Jeremy.

Oct. 9, 2019 | 12:25 p.m.

Very clear and useful explanations on bounties. Also the hand analysis. I liked the last hand with KK and how, after thinking about it, the raise on the turn is not to be feared that much. I used to auto cbet that kind of flops with my premium us 2 players but been getting wiser nowadays. This training site and their coaches have a lot to do with it. Thanks.
