SB: 4967
BB: 21071 (Hero)
UTG: 9212
UTG1: 5747
UTG2: 16485
villain was good mtt reg, i assume he is playing pretty straight forward in this tourny as he not a plo reg,
Preflop (600) (9 Players)
Hero was dealt A T T J
UTG folds, UTG1 folds, UTG2 raises to 800, LJ folds, HJ folds, CO folds, BN folds, SB folds, Hero calls 400
getting such a good price in the bb, was thinking of 3 betting pre but didnt want to inflate the pot OOP 9 handed with a hand i really wanted to see a flop with - std?
Flop (1800) T A 5 (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG2 bets 1150, Hero raises to 4400, UTG2 raises to 15000, Hero raises to 20271, and is all in, UTG2 calls 685, and is all in
so we block aaa and flop pretty good! villain bets out pretty large though i think he has an ok plo game , standard raise here with second nuts and nut blocker right? i guess calling is ok but so many bad turns for my hand i feel its pretty std to r gii here ? worrying thing is we block alot of his a10 combos :/ idk
Turn (43306) T A 5 J (2 Players)
River (43306) T A 5 J K (2 Players)
Final Pot
Hero has A T T J UTG2 has J A A 7 UTG2 wins 33170

what was your original plan once you 3b if a) he 4bs and b) he flats ? v described villain although you don't have much hands on him i'd prefer flatting pre keeping the pot small oop rather than building a large pot oop v someone who is very likely to flat our 3b or 4b us. Our edge this deep is always going to be post flop. As played its a really shitty spot don't particularly wanna jam and let him fold his air and call with hands that are way ahead of us or AK/AQs. But dont wanna flat and play a massive pot oop v someone who is v likely to fire all 3 streets and we dont know where we are. Think im gonna sound like a nit and say fold here preserve our stack and wait for a better spot v him to spew v us.

other options we have are 5b induce click it back/ 5b click it back and fold to a shove both seem really spewy though. Actually thinking more i don't think i mind flatting the 4b and re-evaluating post and seeing a turn on most flops.

would like to hear your thoughts on the Q8o fold from MP1 @1:07:38 you only folding here because BB is so short or would you be folding there all the time ? i think its a shove most of the time and possibly here even when BB is so short ? also K5o UTG @ 1:09:09 would it not be better to make the -EV shove here to maintain fold equity + if we're iso'ed we win more when we double because of the BB and SB being in the pot ?
