I think this video series is a good lens for viewers to see a Pro through.  Even if you pretend that these bots are regulars from a foreign land we learn how Ben analyzes players' strategies finding flaws, strengths, and giving a comparison to 'Standard' plays amongst the HS community.

The lesson learned from this video was not how good are bots because that was not revealed from this sample.

The valuable lesson is to open our eyes up to new lines that may be more exploitative and +EV that traditional lines.  According to TOP the further you opponent is playing from how they would play given knowledge of your hand the better the 'edge' or player.  As players are able to hand read on multiple levels better and better the challenge becomes keeping them confused and making high variance guesses [I see more of a passivity trend when my opponents are confused].

I'm indifferent about the release of this series.  I am believe that RIO is mainstream and possibly being pottripped by e-pirates so anything preached becomes 'Standard' therefore I prefer if I don't educate my opponents about macro-strategy adjustments or improvements.  Being a live player is my study ethic and attention to details that create a wider void between me and the 'Regz' and this information would only widen the gap!

James Hudson (200BB+) and Michael Dolle (100BB+) each just did a 6 max 6 Table $1/2 (No Zoom Fad shenanigans).

I think you should do a proview on someone that plays a comparable game where RIO members could learn thought processes some of your high stakes creativity!

Proviewing 200BB games would make a great film that can be applicable to all NL members b/c most players when doubling up are going to be 200+ BBs.  Who knows, you might find some spots where ES are 400+BBs?!

I reached out at the RIO lounge during Phils Q&A as a 'live' (ugh) semi-pro 5/10 NL 200BB+ NHLE player. I mostly voiced the desire for a deepstack 200BB+ 5/10+ to lend live poka players your thought processes!  Trying to make the jump to High Stakes is really daunting these days ...

Often times I see that younger players (like myself) play really poorly after doubling to 200-400ishBBs and not defending with aggression by stealing the initiative on later streets and I think I need to learn how to play my marginal hands aggressively vs villains with the initiative on later streets (usually versus better opponents) and find some spots to increase my 3 barrel ranges!

Love the material so far, GL in the big games!!!

You should bet as you said because we fold out a lot of hands w/o history.   if not then c/r if you think his range is Kx to $53-58 it will make your game tougher to play against and is profitable [plus we can create a value c/r on this texture quite easily!]!

I've played 2 satellites and I find that i'm being 3 bet a crazy amount early levels and a lot of people are playing Sattys like MTTs.  Florida players are some of the worst and with lots of the pros already in Day 1 I expect the 8PM Satty to be soft as a baby's bottom!  Just play like  the book and try and pick up on opponents reads to maximize your equity in the prizepool!

I like the adjustments you are proposing besides the raise and take it down strategy because raising 5-7BBs is risking lots of our stack unless we're on a dream table-- and taking it down preflop is not necessarily the reason that we iso it is just a nice benefit when our opponents can't defend enough [or defend too much].

I am a young player and I know people really suck at MTT sattys -- Like really-suck-lots even the top pros who often hero off or barrel off vs nutted ranges so I am thrilled someone else is working on this aspect of their game.

I am grinding 3-8 $575 mega satellites into $5300 main at SHRPO i'll fill you in on any insights or adjustments I see/make.

I noticed how you executed overbetting vs recreational players and it seemed good since we are probably closer to balanced with the increased sizing.

What sort of spots & why do you do this vs. regulars at your normal limits???
