In the past, there is no phil galfond zoom poker coaching videos.
but today phil galfond play zoom poker a lot.
you know.....
there is big difference between zoom table and regular table.
In the zoom table, there is much lack of information.
there is less preflop mistake. there is more regular plyaers etc..
So i think professional players prefer to play regular table rather than zoom table
because these is more information to use
Why is phil galfond playing Zoom Poker?

Do you think 6 max player is better player than 9max player?

Dose 6 max player has more talent and ability?

there is no 9 max room in high stakes. (there are only few 400nl, 600nl room)

it's means better player play 6max than full ring. right?

and 9 max play is more easy in general

what do you think about this?

i read that poker without a plan is bad poker

but i nomally don't plan in future street.

i only think what i face

for example i don't have plan turn and river situation in the flop.

(ex. i will call the turn. but if he bet river, i will fold)

or i don't think that "i will 3bet but fold to 4 bet"

why is it important to have a plan in poker?

but he lose a lots of money these days. so i am shocked.

i also know he failed to cash in big one for one drop tournament.

what happened to phil?

i thought phil galfond often win.(because he is a best player!!!)

Is it just variance that poker player have to accept?

"A" player always open raise and bet bet. always join the postflop

but i don't receive any good card for a long time.(i am tight player)

and when i receive good card. i always miss the flop

but "A" player always open raise and bet bet. join the postflop

so i am tilt. i eventually think "A" player can't have good card often.

and eventually fight him with marginal hand

but "A"player has always good hands....always hit the flop and ship it!

what should i do in this kind of situation?

just fold, fold, fold for minimum loss until i hit good flop?

when i face "A" player, i feel like i am donkey

"A"player always join the pot and become a big stack.

If i only play one table, i can see other player's every hand.

i can see how they palyed. i can know previous history and more specific information.

but if i play multi-table, i can't see those things.

i only can know my hands history.

when i play multi-table, i am nervous because i can't observe other player's play

some people don't care about this. but i am nervous.

Is it ok not to see other player's every hand ?

Poker is uncertain in the future?

i mean, many players who made a big winning suffer a defeat.

"isildur1" who earned 5.5M in highstakes cash game.

but he lose 8.5M and now his highstakes result is about -3M

And One of the best player in the world Phil ivey. He was a biggest winner in highstakes game.

But Since 2012, he lose 4.5M (Fulltilt ID "polarizing")

These guys are difinately best players who have high level skill.

But as time goes on, they are losing.

So i think that if you are good player, there is no guarantee of success.

what do you think about this?

If these players palyed in middle stake not highstake in which there are a lot of same good player.

Will they always succeed?

Post | daegyung posted in Chatter: I only play two-table. Is it Ok?

i can't play multi-table. i can't think quickly.

and i don't like to play multi-table. when i play multi-table, i decide automatic decision.

so i play only two table.

you may say. "just two table?"

but i think two table is comfortable for me. and i can play A-game.

i don't feel good when i play c-game(automatic play,decision)

My main game is tournament. but i am said that tournament needs a lot of volume than cash game.

so i really worry about my two-tabling. and i thought "Do i have to change my main game?"

but i love to play tournament than cash game. but i am still worry about problem of volume.

Do i have to change my main game?

or playing high buy-in tournament than before? (because i only play two table...)

i don't have many experience that help me. i need your help. thanks.!!!

Should I play Poker Tournaments, Cash Games or Sit N Go’s?

This is a common question amongst beginner poker players. When you start playing poker you have tons of options of the different types of games you can play. In the following article I will try and shed some light about my favourite types of poker game, why I think they are great and what I think you should play.

First of all, I will be approaching this from a financial perspective. Many players just play poker for fun, If this is you, play whatever game you want, play what is more fun to you and what you enjoy the most. However, if your approaching this from a money making perspective it will be beneficial to try and find the game that will make you the maximum amount of money.

Cash games

I am pretty sure I am slightly biased towards cash games because this is how I have predominantly made my living for the past few years. In my opinion cash games have the least amount of variance, provide the largest edge and the most consistent form of income for a winning player.

What I mean by this is that MTT tournaments and Sit N Go’s feature a lot of allin situations which are frequently flips where you don’t control the outcome, of course its possible to gain an edge by playing Sit N Go’s and MTT tournaments but the edge you generally can get is less than in cash games on a per game/per hand basis. Cash game players will frequently have a higher percentage of winning sessions and the income will be a lot more consistent if you are a winning player. However, its definitely possible to make consistent profits in MTT’s and SNG’s, it just requires that you play a huge volume of hands/games.

Its also worth noting the number of successful cash game players who make a lot of money are greater in number than tournament players and Sit N Go players who make similar money. Far more people have the ability to make a lot of money playing cash games than any other form of game.

Finally, the skills you learn in cash games will serve you well in MTT tournaments. If you take all the top cash game specialists in the world they are all great tournament players. If you take some tournament specialists, more often than not they wont be the best cash game players or could lack the skills necessary to beat deepstack cash games.

Multi Table Tournaments

Tournaments are my second favourite way to make money playing poker. The reason for this is the edge in MTT’s is greater than you will find in Sit n Go’s. Top Sit n Go players will have an ROI of approximately 10% or less. Top MTT players can have ROI’s of greater than 100%. The variance is still greater in MTT’s than cash games but you will find plenty of MTT players online who put in enough volume to overcome this variance.

Sit N Go’s

I honestly believe Sit N Go’s are dying. Fewer and fewer recreational players are playing them. The games are almost solved. And the edge a great Sit N Go player has is minimal at best, especially if he is sitting at another table full of regular players.

That being said, there are still opportunities outside the standard realm of Sit N Go’s. Heads up Sit N Go’s offer a greater edge for experienced players and the newer double or nothing Sit N Go’s seem to be attracting more poor players than the standard 9 man format.

If you go to a site like SharkScope you will see than the top players of the 9 man Sit N Go’s are making a fraction of what the top MTT tournament and cash game professionals make. Because of this, I would advise that you look into another form of game if you want to maximise your profits.
