Mid to High stake 6 max player here. I want to learn how to play HU better to start tables. I am already getting coaching. Is ACR the best option for American players. Are HU bots or RTA users common on ACR (I know ACR use to be notorious for RTA and bots, but it has improved for the past couple of years)? Thanks!

Post | doctorkc posted in NLHE: HUNL Coaching

I am trying to learn HU and play midstakes and possibly high stakes HU in the future. I have been playing 200NL to 1KNL 6 max with good winrate on US sites. I always like Kevin Raichow's content. Has anyone gotten coaching from Kevin Rabichow for HU? If so, can someone please give me feedback. Thank you!

I play 200NL to 1KNL online in the States. I am debating between playing full time at MI vs PA? MI seems a lot better in the beginning (but traffic seems decreased significantly recently; games are still pretty good - however, I am not sure if it's sustainable). Any thoughts?

Read your other posts, your thought processes are pretty basic. I don't understand why you make a useless remark without any context.

1 time. HM merged with PT; so HM3 is going to be the only product that they will keep updating in the future.

Comment | doctorkc commented on Looking for a coach

Bitb and BTS are the 2 best CFP organizations. Paul Otto, from poker VIP (aka bigblindbets) is the only good hourly coach that I know of (but I don't think he coaches anymore, I could be wrong).

It won't work if you have Monkerviewer (since you can't copy to the clipboard).

Copy from clipboard, and paste onto PIO ranges. Then save the ranges.

Post | doctorkc posted in NLHE: Terrible Redline

Hello,

I have been playing on US sites, and been winning quite a bit (playing from NL200 to NL1k). However, my redline is terrible. Is there a high stake player on Stars that coaches on hourly basis instead of CFP (I know MMASherdog does CFP, which I am not interested)?

Post | doctorkc posted in NLHE: Session Length

I am in mid 30s. I have recently got back to poker and playing anywhere from 200NL to 1KNL (with solid win rate). Is it better to play 2 or 3 hours session, then take a long break and play another one? Or do you think it's feasible to play 2 to 3 hours, take a short break and play another 2 to 3 hours session and be done for the day (to maximize playing time during peak hours)?

I am not trying to insult you (hopefully, you don't take it that way). I always appreciate when people post their sincere thought process in the comments. Thank you for your input.

At some frequency, yes.

If you run sims, when there's over 2 SPR on the river if you call on turns that are favorable for you, you always have a raising range. Just because you can 2x river and get your stack in on the river IP, it doesn't mean you should only call. Also, this comment: "Ofc if you arent playing value hands this way you shouldnt play bluffs in this line" is very flawed in practice. Thanks for the input anyways.

Thanks, I think it's pretty bad since I am getting direct odds to call vs a fish.

Thanks, but it seems like you are a micro stake based on those comments.

Post | doctorkc posted in NLHE: ACR vs Igition/Bovada vs Global

For US players, which site is current is the best for mid stake games (in term of software, RNG, not a lot of bots, a lot of recs in the pool)? Could someone who players between 100nl to 1000nl comment on the pros and cons of these sites and let me know which one you think is the best? Thanks.

Post | doctorkc posted in NLHE: Improving My Redline

My red-line so bad. Is this the result of me overfolding or not bluffing enough. Any advice?

I just bought a new computer with Xeon processor with 128gb of RAM. I am only going to be using it for NL. I already asked quite a few people regarding this topic. If possible, I would like to get options from a few experienced people how here before I make my final decision.

Did you use piosolver edge to solve it

July 11, 2017 | 5:32 a.m.

BB vs IP( esp. btn). Obviously all the other positions 3 betting 63s is pretty awful.

July 10, 2017 | 7:14 p.m.

I went through the PokerSnowie Preflop Advisor recently. I noticed that it advocates a Ax heavy 3 betting strategy even from bb. I know most people mentioned in the past that 3 betting linear in the sb and polarized in bb in preferred since we are getting a really good price to call in the bb and closing the action. For those who have solved it from PioSolver, is Snowie way off? For example is 3 betting 63 suited preferred over 3 betting a6 suited or is it the other way around?

July 10, 2017 | 8:54 a.m.

I haven't played online for a few years. I played anywhere from 100nl to 400nl online before that. I am trying to reconstruct my default ranges vs co and btn openings. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
