Apologies if I mistaken but did you say you won $100k playing 10-20 zoom during scoop and were a little rusty? 50bb upswing in 2 weeks pretty decent for rusty play! 👍

Would you fold AQo in the last hand knowing the calculations you ran afterwards telling you it was a fold?

thanks, just came across them so going to go through the series, should help. Next thing working out how to use HEM properly on a mac. Parallels seems pretty buggy trying to do it that way.

Post | josh green posted in PLO: PLO HUD - Stats and Help

Im about to start 'playing' again after not putting in any serious volume for a year or so. I have never really used a HUD or stats to any real degree, despite having HEM2, leak buster, note caddy etc.

Before i start again i really want to get my set up and HUD sorted and understand so on this note i had 2 questions.

  1. Are there any videos or threads on this site which go through PLO HUD set up, stats ( average/good main indicators ).
  2. If not does anyone have a useful resource where i can find what im looking for.

p.s - possibly would be happy to pay someone for help with set up, going through the fundamentals of HEM2 and using it effectively for mid stakes PLO.

if you look back at the hand on 27mins when you call off the river cr with small boat don't you think you can respectfully fold or bet smaller to fold? as you say he can never really be bluffing and his line indicates top or middle set on flop, especially once he check calls your turn bet. he won't call you with missed draws or over pairs on the river ( he would not cr flop with overpaid anyway so thats out the equation) so your only getting called by a worse 4 there. if he thinks you are messing around he may b more likely to bet river to get you to fold rather than take a hugely risky line like cr river as bluff, therefor he should always have it here. Is this me just being far to nitty or would you agree?

when you double barrel the turn with 910 and have picked up equity with your straight draw don't you think you have great implied odds of winnings a bigger pot if you hit the river, especially with a Q since this may hit his range even harder ( 2 pair hands). Plus you can credibly check turn and bet river if he checks both streets. I cant imagine barreling all streets against this p[layer would work after he calls flop bet ( and then hypothetically call the turn bet) as you suggest previously. It would be interesting to hear if the majority think that betting the turn was the optimal play here,

Hey Phil, on your first hand when you cr ak210 you dont talk about what you will do on the river if you get called and it comes a non flush card that doesn't improve your hand ( cards like 5,7,8,9). what rivers will you barrel bluff and what rivers will you give up on? also if you improve your hand to a straight or flush are you checking back to bluff catch or betting for value?
