In the button vs BB scenario...
Is there any argument in 100BB stack sizes, for BB to include a small check/raise size with some hands that have poor equity, but great blockers of his own, to fold out weaker hands from a more polarized betting strategy from button?

Are you just "going with" too much of your range as the button for that to be profitable as the BB?
Can you "float" that size with some blockers of your own?

Or is it optimal to include a few hands that seemingly bet/fold out too much equity to a large c/r, but play well as a counter measure against a small check/raise size on dynamic boards?

You my favorite PLO content provider, excellent work. Only complaint is there aren't more videos from you!

I'd love to see an analysis of differences in strategy for 40bb stack sizes vs 100bb stack sizes, useful for players who play PLO primarily in an 8-game mix. But that's just me, any content is welcome!

Solid video iteo, but bet/folding hand 7 instead of calling and drawing 1 feels incorrect to me.

You stated in your assumptions that HJ should be raising all his 1 card draws, which means his range is weighted more to those than pat hands.
Assume for sake of argument that no player will cold call 2 in that spot without a 1 card draw.

At the very least you are getting 15 to 1 for the parlay that

HJ is drawing 1 (75%+?)
AND

You improve to an 87 and become the money favorite in the hand with some reverse implied odds.
OR
No one improves/bets the next draw, it checks around, and you are in a spot where you have ~20% pot equity on the final draw.

I haven't done the math on that parlay , but I can't imagine it doesn't pay off 15 to 1.

thought this was one of the best PLO video formats I've seen.
Think you struck a great balance between solver work and exploring a variety of scenarios.

I was coming on RIO to check if there's any new videos for mixed games (I rarely play PLO/NL now and was debating canceling my account), stumbled upon your video... making me think twice!

fwiw, If you only have 51% vs "his" range (I assume you mean your bttn opening range) on that board texture, you are likely 3-betting too many non Kx hands relative to Kx hands...
OR you open too many Kxo hands on the button.

I'm basing this on my intuition, but having 51% equity on a mid high board in a spot where you your range should be stronger on high textures feels wrong.
It likely means you should tweak your sb 3-betting range or bttn opening range against tough regs more so than having a wide flop check distribution.
