Thank you so much. This definitely helped me out but how can I access the same RFI ICM ranges?

I would call to induce the stacks behind to shove with possible worse hands, AJ, AQ, KQss, etc. if you raise utg and he jams then you're most likely getting to a flip or possibly behind.

Do you use pokertracker or hm2? and how do you get stars to just show BBs like that?

Sept. 5, 2016 | 7:07 p.m.

Definitely a fold on he river as played since we don't beat any range of hands that shoves over us. The flop river bet is meh and an exploitable play vs aces that are going to check back but in reality we want to keep representing our hand as a midpair and for him to either bluff or bet his ace.

Sept. 3, 2016 | 9:27 a.m.

I personally wouldn't 3b this big but not that big of a deal. 5b shove here would be a mistake after villain 4b clicks back for over 100bbs but you're getting tremendous odds to see a flop with a good hand. Also what is your image? If I've been aggressive with my 3b then I might just pile it in.

Sept. 3, 2016 | 9:03 a.m.

Never laying this down. You played all streets good imo. If he has QQ then it's simply a cooler. I would bet bigger on the river also.

great sutff, looking forward to more of your videos. great points on what the opponents ranges should be as well as what ours should be.

with the pocket jacks hand. What is your checking range here on this type of board after cold 4betting? AxQc, 99-1010xc, and JJ-AA w/ no club?

HJ: $100

Villain is a good lag. He's 27/23 and 7.1 3B and has been 3B me frequently since I started playing with him.

I don't think raising this flop can ever be bad. He can get it in with possible wraps, overpairs + str8 draws. Does anybody FC here?
Turn ($66.46) 3 (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $21.89, SB calls $21.89
Looking back I would have preferred a bigger turn bet to avoid a tough decision on the river but I wanted to do it for deception purposes, but I was a little scared when he snap called the flop and turn bet.
River ($110.24) 8 (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $110.24, SB calls $45.38
I don't like my river shove since the straights got there and he's most likely not calling it off with an overpair.

UTG: $56.43
Villain is aggr 6m reg. I've seen him get out of line at times. One hand he 3B called my 4B with ak82 and min CRed all in when I had aces. He is 25/19 w 8.5% 3B 7.4 total Agg and 5.1 Agg on river
Preflop ($0.75) (5 Players)
Hero was dealt 8 6 J A
UTG folds, Hero raises to $1.28, BN folds, SB folds, BB raises to $3.59, Hero calls $2.81
He knows I am generally aggro from the CO and BU and from past experience he has weaker hands in his 3B range.

BB bets $6, Hero calls $6
Turn ($20.43) 7 (2 Players)

Wasn't sure what to make of this small bet. It was either an inducing bet or information bet and knowing these players I feel like it was most likely an information bet
River ($28.43) J (2 Players)
BB bets $28.43
He's repping the nuts. At this point actually looking back it makes the turn bet look like an inducing bet, but i'm not 100% sure.

Previously I hadattacked a 733 board after he 3b with a gutter and he folded

March 5, 2013 | 10:05 p.m.

He was definitely tilted, the hand before he 5b shoved qj+
62ss and he was paying me off every hand. He also showed that hes capable of semi bluff shoving a turn over my two barrel in a 3b pot. That being said he hasnt gotten out of line on a paired board but it was the first time the situation came in the match. Could this be a spot to play it standard and wait for a better spot to stack him? I felt with gameflow and his tilt factor that my play was good, but a little unsure.

I feel like I get raised here a lot with flush + str8 draws as well as straights. That being said I would have preferred a check call over CB. Our hand is disguised if we hit a boat and we can re-evaluate turns, get it in on diamonds or an ace. Thoughts?
Final Pot

SB: $153.70
BB: $808.40 (Hero)
I have been very aggressive with CR on flops and 3B a fair amount as well. Villain is a tilted reg and is 81/72 w 42.4% 3B and has paid me off every time.
Preflop ($1.50) (2 Players)
Hero was dealt 9 7 Q A
SB raises to $2.50, Hero calls $2
I think I can 3B this but I feel like it doesn't play that great. Also good for deception purposes since I have been 3B a little over 15%
Flop ($6.00) 7 8 6 (2 Players)
Hero checks, SB bets $4, Hero raises to $15, SB calls $11
I think a CR can never really be bad here since I always have outs even if he has a made straight.
Turn ($36.00) 2 (2 Players)
Hero checks, SB bets $22, Hero calls $22
I really didn't want to bet and get jammed on so I decided to check. Looking back I would have preferred a CShove with his bet.

I have been playing back at Villain a ton in 3B pots. He's pretty tilted and does not believe me one bit and has paid me off everytime. He's 81/72 with a 3B 42.4%
Preflop ($1.50) (2 Players)

Hero raises to $2.50, Villain raises to $8, Hero calls $6

With history this seems std. He can call with wraps, overpairs.
Turn ($82.00) T (2 Players)
Jon Doe checks, Hero bets $51, Villain raises to $154.60, Hero calls $103.60
Pretty sure I can't fold here since he can easily be semi bluffing here.

Comment | jaesik commented on Is this always quads?
Sorry, I didn't mean to post the results. His opening range is only 6% and his VPIP is 80%. He can definitely have worse, but my instincts really told me he had quads this time. It could have been his timing and how deep we were, but i'm not too sure.

March 5, 2013 | 11:23 a.m.

Thanks again for the reply 5carab, I definitely agree with 1) and 2) but i'm mainly having trouble heads up with Euro regs that tend to be very aggressive at the start of the match then run shortly after. Pretty much raising every hand, barreling a lot of turns, rivers. And I know I can't play too tight OOP heads up or i'll just get run over even more right? I play fairly standard tight OOP heads up but it still seems like I brick nearly ever flop and just have to fold OOP and IP since it feels like they call a ton OOP. Is it possible it's just a bad run of cards?

March 5, 2013 | 10:09 a.m.

I'm not sure if there's already a topic on this or not but I couldn't find one. I've been having trouble combating hyperaggro players and feel like I just get run over a lot. I mostly have trouble in single raised pots OOP when they CB around 80% of flops. I've been messing around with CR bluffing but it seems like the playersi've been playing against, (mainly Euros) almost never fold. I know fighting back on very dry boards is good but what other kinds of flops can we fight back on and follow through on turns and rivers? It really feels like I brick nearly every flop and just have to fold most times. I'm also having trouble just CB flops HU. I feel like the same thing happens and I completely brick every flop that's very draw heavy and I just have to give up nearly every hand since they call a ton. Is this just a run of bad luck? How much more often should I be 3B players that raise nearly every hand? Is this just a run of bad luck or am I not CB and barreling flops and turns enough?

March 5, 2013 | 9:23 a.m.

SB: Villain: $125.30
BB: Hero: $101.50
Villlain is veyr aggressive but have only been playing HU with him for maybe 20-30 hands. His stats over 872 hands is 31/26 and 9.7 with 5 Aggr
Preflop ($1.50) (2 Players)
Hero was dealt 2 T 9 4
Villain raises to $2.50, Hero calls $2
Not even sure if calling this pre is good or not.
Flop ($6.00) 6 6 3 (2 Players)
Hero checks, Villain bets $4, Hero raises to $12, Villain calls $8
My plan was to take down the pot on the flop by CR
Turn ($30.00) T (2 Players)
Hero checks, Villain checks
I really didn't want to get blown off my hand in case he shoved over another barrel so my plan was to CC and evaluate the river.
River ($30.00) 3 (2 Players)
Hero checks, Villain bets $21, Hero folds
Was fairly certain Villain didn't have a 6 but a backdoor flush draw did get there, but I'm sure he bet's all missed draws as well. Standard fold?
Final Pot
Villain wins $50
I would really like to know thoughts on all streets please.
