Hi Owen, thanks for taking the time out for such a long and detailed reply. I must say when you break it down like this I get so much more out of it, as it really gives me an insight into your thought process throughout the hand. The way you broke it down here very much justifies your play in each hand.
I didn't mean to sound overly critical and very much enjoy your videos. Look forward to more content!

Watched some of your other videos and really enjoyed them. Have to say was quite disapointed here. A4s was a questionable squeeze imo. Sure we generate a decent amount of folds from limper but 4 players behind and 30% when called. Think there are better spots with 12bb. Suited k bb vs sb. Maybe your standard line is to raise with a 10 but i'd be expecting a solid player to flat 10 100% and give you a 6 or air. Why not float? Back door equity and luxury of seeing if he gives up on the turn. Aq while i think on river he has more value combos he has a tonne of draws which have a mandatory bluff once checked to if we bet we maintain control and possibly get folds from stubborn pp's. Dont mean to rant as I say I have enjoyed other content but all I learned here was how to double with AA :)

Also might consider checking flop, the book says protect/VB but if this guys the maniac we think he may be we might be better off stationing him as it allows him to barrel with all his air without letting the pot get uncomfortably large OOP.

If your not calling then don't play AJ from EP, you cant play hands like these and then play so passively on a board like that. I honestly think you profit more from folding if this is your postflop approach if that makes sense?

Think limping QJ pre is the worst of the 3 options tbh. Even if this player is limping 100% of his range here you have players with reggish stats playing in position and your going to get squeezed a tonne and playing QJ OOP is pretty gross. AT least an iso raise allows you to rep strength later on if the situation requires it. QJ in general is a fold in EP I would only tend to play it when deep and my table image is getting to rocky.

Post | leefost posted in MTT: SNG resource on ROI

Pardon me if this has already been suggested or I'm wrong, I cant seem to find much SNG material on run it once. I play mostly turbo 180/90/45 man sng's and also 9 man hypers mostly for rake-back. I do also play MTT's and cash but would love to see more strategy videos and forum threads for these games.

I realise these games are probably more for low stakes grinders and so most of the pros wont touch these but i'm sure I'm not alone in these games making up a good chunk of my grind. Is it just that ROI is exclusively a cash and MTT resource or have a I missed somthing?

Thanks again, do you no think check calling then folding on a brick allows us to be blown off the hand by too many draws/p+gutters?

July 17, 2014 | 3:28 a.m.

This is true and I realised that this is a terrible board for me but can I really check/fold bet/fold?

July 16, 2014 | 11:58 p.m.

Thanks for replys. My reasoning at the time for check raising was that I felt that he's obliged with stack sizes to fire with his entire range and felt it gave me better chance to get value from his air and 1p hands that need to protect on such a wet board.

Great video, once again. Thanks for taking the time to help us micro grinders out :P. Probably the wrong place to post this and I apologise, but my holdem manager2 does not work on zoom. on the HM2 website there is an FAQ I have followed all steps and it does not work still. Has anyone else had this problem and know how I may solve this?
