From what I'm used to see in PIO if there is no reason at all for a combo over another it would just mix them all in the same frequency rather than choosing one combo high frequency and than not at all with the others
I also think in this way wye don't give IP any reason to have a ''better'' decision with any combo over another based on suites there, and makes more sense (to me at least)
I think in every mono flop I have ever ran it didn't use any of the other suites over another. will check it now.
Edit - I checked my previous 2 mono sims and indeed the non flush or flush drew cards are mixing all exact same frequency (for example on 972sss every Q5suited or K6suited or KQo no s is mixing the exact same frequencies between the different suites)
Edit 2 - Just now I completed watching the video. Love that you showed hands where you made mistakes and also the concept you presented beyond the technical element

I'm just after 9 minutes and something looks very weird to me in the sim - on A84 mono there is a difference between K9hh and K9cc or dd, and also A2hh and A2cc or dd.
Feels like something is wrong with the sim. Do you have an idea for what is the reason?

at 22:30 you say that we just give up because we didn't pick up any equity and that our hand doesn't accomplish anything by betting
I would actually argue it's a pretty good barrel candidate, I think in this BVB scenarios, especially starting with a tighter range that has some very clear value bet's OTT, we should be finding some non-eq bluffs on this board
and J3hh that blocks non of the BDF flop continues, and has an overcard to 8x/Tx, and blocks both open-enders J9/QJ - is actually one of our very best non equity bluffs OTT IMO

Liked the video series and I love that you bring sims in there
at 11:00 you 3b the BB v UTG 30bb eff with A4s there - I would think this hand is too strong to 3b-fold even against UTG given we expect more 4bet shoves than flats and our hand actually preforms pretty well vs this strong range that will shove against us and feels like a bit of a waste (so maybe we should bluff 3bet some offsuit Ax or the very worst suited like A2s/A6s?)

loved the mental game talk in the beginning and your review thought process
just 1 thing I really don't agree with - the assumed optimal bluff 3bet range from SB in the Q8s BTN vs SB hand. it doesn't make sense to 3bet a hand as weak as K5o or Q6o or J6o in the spot, where you fold all K8o K7o K9o J9o etc. you are playing small size OOP so flats IP is something that is going to happen. so just having unclockers to folding range is not enough, and we should look to 3bet the top of our flatting range(/bottom of continue range), choosing the ones with the better blocker properties of course
IMO bluffing range there should be mainly A2o-A4o, K9o or QTo type hands

at 17:00 you 3bet AKo there to 9.6bb 38 eff vs CO , It seems like a significantly too big sizing to me, I think for chips at this stack depth we probably dont need to make much bigger than 4x, and than for ICM I believe we can go even a bit smaller just because CO is incentivized to jam/fold way more than flat there
SPR is anyway very shallow postflop, even if you go 7.5bb it's going to be less than 2
do you agree?
are you using few different 3bet sizes in the spot?
I would probably go around 7.5bb there with my 3bet range
