Oh I think I get it now, I cant do comparisions with different amount of value combos because even if ratio stays the same EV will be higher with more value combos ;)

did I get something wrong, just trying to see if I understood
so a strategy of 72% value to 28% bluffs would be: (imabalanced towards value)
72x1+28x0 = 72?
No. The assumption is that we have 60 value combos. Changing our bluffing frequency does not yield more value combos. So this means that we bluff (28/72) x 60 combos. This is 23.3 combos. We always get folds, so both our value bets and bluffs get 1 times the pot:
EV = 60x1 + 23.3x1 = 83.3

so cant my assumption be that there are 72 value combos and 28 bluffing combos
and then EV of that would be 72x1+28x1=100? (I understand the x1 folding part now ty)

so a strategy of 72 value combos and lets say 37 bluffing combos would be
72x2 +37x(-1)=107 so any strategy that is closer to GTO frequency of having 66% value combos / 33% bluffing combos would have the highest ev?

I also understand that EV of my play got higher because I introduced more value combos

Hey GameTheory, if we have less than 66% Value combos then our bets should allways be called so EV=2 because 1(POT?)+1(our river POT sized bet)=2

"The old strategy has 30 combos of bluffing for a total EV of:
60x1.5 + 30x0 = 90 - 0 = 90."
Is this here a gto strategy of 66,6% value to 33,3% bluff ratio? and EV=1,5 because 1(POT)+0,5(because now our opponent is calling with 50% frequency?)

did I get something wrong, just trying to see if I understood

so a strategy of 72% value to 28% bluffs would be: (imabalanced towards value)
72x1+28x0 = 72? (value x1 because he should never call and we should only win POT and bluffs x0 because we dont get bluff catched so we dont lose it?)

your strategy of 60 combos of value and 40 combos of bluffs has EV of 80
my strategy of 72 combos of value and 28 combos of bluffs has EV of 72(if I did the math correct)
why a bluff heavy strategy has better EV if I created the same difference (6% from 66%/33% value/bluff ratio) what am I missing?

the thing with exploitative play is you need to know the types of opponents you are exploiting and I wouldnt feel qualified to do that since I dont know exacly how these live games play, would assume tho that they play much different;)

hi;) I am ex mid/high hunl cash pro, playing 6max PLO as my main game nowadays, I am one of the best regs on stars zoom200/500 I am looking to get my nlh 6max game and maybe nlh mtt up to par for better reach during live tournaments and scoops/wcoops

I have gto oriented playstyle that I adjust on the fly creating exploitative strategy if someone is imbalanced and would look for someone similar minded at nlh, for comparision I play 32/22/10% 3b/42%afq in plo zoom games

so yeah basically looking to trade plo coaching for nlh, looking for crushers with similar long term winrate (5evbb at 200's or whatever is considered top notch at nlh) I learn quite fast and have coaching experience

long story short, Philipe and I are living on Phuket for 2 months now and we have 1 free room in our villa, which btw is the most amazing place to live ever, basically its on the hill we have huge terrace with pool and sickest view you can imagine, my roommate plays on eurosites(plo400-plo2k), I play on pokerstars(plo200-plo500zooms) and we are both one of the best regs in our games, ready to provide our long term graphs privately for people who are interested, our plan is to stay for 9 more months and we're looking for someone interested in 3months+(exceptions can be made)

we're looking for solid mid-highstakes plo player motivated to get better, who is easy going and like-minded(unhealthy levels of negativity are not welcome, sorry:D), me and Philipe we kinda complete each other in plo sense, his strenghts are my weaknesses and vice versa, we have known each other like 3-4 months, both improved a lot and I am happy to say, we fit as roommates quite well

here is the link to 2+2 thread since Philipe is much more experienced writer and ppl person:) I am not as eloquent and thus I will refrain from making long ass thread for both parties convinience:)

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/153/high-stakes-pl-omaha/grindhouse-villa-thailand-edit-ballin-villa-found-need-1-more-player-pics-itt-1386430/

there are some outdated info on first few pages and the place we are in is a little later in the thread, on skype we can provide more details and additional pictures

mostly we play and work on our games a lot(5-6h a day), train a lot(3-5days) (heavy weightlifting, muay thai and brazilian jiujitsu), we eat healthy, party like once a week and watch movies in the evening or chill in the pool I think its best if you just contact me or Philipe and we will answer all of your questions

PM Philipe on two plus two or PM me here

regards, Philipe and Bartosz:)
