Grate video, I can see You did put a lot of work into that. It would be intresting to see how future play simulation afects ICM model on finale table.

In 66 hand what do you Think abaut villain shoving hands like T6cc or T8dd otr?

Feb. 5, 2016 | 4:47 a.m.

I think that x/c tern is profitable given how much iplayed odds we get on non club Q river from what u say and non club 8x is also nutty since he reises QT pre decent % of time pre. If we ware BBvbutton I understand folding. ICM is consideration here but defrence betwen 3rd and 2nd is 300e and betwen 1szt and 2nd 4200e so we still got to battele for 1st mostly.

Villian x backs a lot so far, but otf he has all straights and 2pair combos so its not that sweet. there is some icm consideration here and playing small pots is to our adventage here so especialy versus small stabs which villian has been doing so far otf x/reising is less atractive. Flating his 3bet is +Cev imo, but considering icm and the chance to survive to HU and play without positional disadventage here is valueble. I would still consider shoving tern since BB likes to clik buttons although not ton of history betwin us.

if his value range is 9x+ (which seems reasonable by his sizing) blockers doesn't play a major role on the spot.

I can see, thank you.

I think the problem with folding river is, that some people in MTT's bet AsX OTT here and no history with villian makes it really hard to fold OTR a hand that steel blocks straights and some flushes. I think, that If there was a decent chance that he could overbet or potbet some rivers as bluff or value (with weaker hands) would realy make it much better X OTT. Do you think that us haveing blockers here can decrese value of his tern X/R and river bet so that would make an argument for bet/ calling down? How our blockers are relevant for us here?

Thanks for tone of good advice it seems clear, that beting flop is beter. With ace of clubs do u prefer checking or useing mixed starategy here? With stacks, that we can get all chips in on 2 streets do you start checking?

I understand your point. Isn't 88s a nut bluffcacher here, he is probably more likely to lead flushes and streights and x/r bouts, so not sure how blockers are relevant here. In tournament it seems ok spot to bet/calldown since people assume u are ace high heavy here and folding a lot rivers. You can not predict his sizeing, but the size of his tern x/r gives us a good price also. I open here only A9s, T9s, 89s of 9x, ocasionly a9o, not here tho.

Hi very nice read. My story is bit different then yours, but I see simular posts reasonably often. From my expierience I benefited the most by following my own path. Everyone has an opinion what you should do or not and often speaks that confidently, when you are full of doubts. The true what you should do depends on who you are and what you wont to do in your life, what you are pasionate abaut. If you expect to crush high stakes cg thats gonna be extrimely tough travel. Few people succide in poker and small percentage of them gets to play in high stakes. Weather you should continue with poker it depends on If You wont to be a poker profesional either full time or as a side or a temporary job, proffesion. You do not have to make decision now for the rest of your life. I think all answers are available in ourselves and only you can make the choice and only you will be responsible for the outcome, what ever advice you will follow.
P.S. I do not make much posts, so sorry for the text being a bit rough. I know, that my respond was very general, but that's the best I can think of.

Comment | pawelgracz commented on valubeting sizeing

The point I was making is that U can not be perfectly balanced. Beting flop does not accomplish much if u plan to x/f on further streets, villian is tight but a reg. Co is continueing flop with KTo and T9s for sure AT probably also, so it is not favorable spot to be on the tern. We might get raised otf also which is disadventageous for us. If I think villian is overly aggressive versus my x otf I start x my strong range, besides if I got here 25% of nutted hands thats a strong range and uncaped, realy hard to exploit me here more likely by x backing then 3 barreling. If u worry abaut balance otf there is no reason not to be balance ott, where U can be also exploited.

There is ante, river is thin but still a lot worse combos in vilian range. x/c river is optimistic to assume that villian is turning some hands into bluff, prefer x/f if decided to x river.

Do you prefer c-beting 100% hands here? By wrighting "face up" do you expect opponent to tern into bluff weaker pp and bluff with all his air hands and v-bet TP+ for 3 streets therefore do you recomend x/c with all our tp+ hands and c-beting all hands with some equity and x-folding the bottom. What is your plan here on blanks do you bet twice and x-fold river or do u trippel barrel to evoid being face up becase if u wont to be perfectly balance the only way is to trippel barrel here all range if that is what u wont to achieve. I would x here some of my nutted hands here, some one decent is usually aware of that.

Jan. 20, 2015 | 9:58 p.m.

26:17 On 822r do you recomend c-beting 100% of range since button has range adventage, probably U got more 2x's, it should not metter that much tho ?
Thanx for video.

Grate video, one of my favorite coaches,
16:50 I had JJc, how would u play here? I do not remember this hand, but my range here looks like something AJs+, AQo+, TT+ for continueing here preflop. It was close to bubble, so most likely the best play would be to shove preflop, but If it was not what is your range here for cold 4beting? The weakest hands I might somethimes cold 4bet here seem Axs, AJo, T9s+ KQo. My sizeing is small and odds are good enough to call most of villian 3bet bluffing hands, but otf we got spr close to 1 so villian can not realize significant part of his equity. If I decide to shove all flops villian can call with hands like kjs, 87s, kqo about 45-50% flops (I made an asumption of 1 pair+, FD, OESD) and there is not much implaied odds eather. Villian can strenghten his range by flating KK+, but still I could shove profitably almast any folp with each of my hands( versus range that includes hands like sc, KQo etc).
