TT seems like a particulary bad combo to bluff catch, blocking some missed staright draws. It´s hard to put him in a value hand, but imo the population underbluffs this spot, so I would fold river. 87 gets there as well. Flop sizing should mostly be smaller to me, with this hand.

What solver do you use to solve 3 way action? I don't know any being able to do that. i guess the play on this flop will change quite a bit depending on the number of players involved

Clear raise OTR, you are literaly beat by only 1 combo....

apart from T9s, we have QTs that is a gutshot. We can pick brodways with bd fd's and A2-A5 bd fd's as well. Lacking bluffs doesn't seem like a good reason to start checking value, I think it is more the other way around

Flop check seems ok, that´s also my standard play in this type of situation. Betting with a heart in your hand should be goog too. On this turn, we can have some hands value betting, mostly overpairs we checked, so I don´t mind betting KQ here, and likely going for it on many rivers. Villain is kind of capped, cause I would expect him to bet most strong hands OTF, and the 9s doesn´t improve his range at all. After checking turn, I think I would pick weaker hands as bluffs OTR, QJ, QT, etc, cause we don´t really have that much value and will likely be overbluffing if we use KQ, but like I said villain is pretty capped in this spot, so overbluffing could be good.

Post | peri0404 posted in NLHE: Low stakes study group?

Hello everyone, I have been trying to improve on my game lately and figured that one of the best ways to do that would be to join a study group. I can say I am quite active and would love to share whatever knowledge I have, and improve together with other people. An invitation for any group would be really apreciated! Thank you all and gl

In my opinion the 9h is a bad card for us, blocking some potential river bluffs, and seem to me that blocking 69 here is kinda irrelevant, as he will for sure bet/call with any 6x hand. From my understanding, the 10nl pool would have a though time folding 87 or 75 for example, which are the hands our raise is looking to fold, and i am not so sure that there will be a lot of floating OTF, therefore don,t think it's such a great bluff spot. If I were to choose bluffs I would pick A5/A7 blocking 56/67 and A6.

In my opinion, players never have bluffs in this spot in 10NL, so what it comes down to is does he plays AQ like this as well as flushes and QQ/AA? you need ~25% to make this a profitable call, so if he does play AQ (9 combos) like this, we should call, otherwise I would just fold. OTT he should have arund 11 flush combos (if he plays all of them like this OTF) + 6 combos of AA/QQ (possibly). i would expect a lot of AQ to 3bet get it in OTF or just call OTT, so unless you have a specific read I recomend folding the river.

Hey Paul, on 30:40 what do you think about using an overbetting strategy OTT? Seems that we would put a lot of pressure on villain´s range and most people would overfold facing a huge bet.
