If villain is calling with overs and any pair I like the bigger bet size on the flop.

If his range truely has no bluffs in it, which is the reason we only called instead of shoved preflop, then we should never check/call this flop. As the best we can hope to do is draw to 6 outs.

“On flop you have big range advantage so betting is reasonable, sizing is also fine as you can bet with high frequency.”
I disagree that this is a reason to bet. Just because our hand on average is ahead, doesn’t mean we should bet our specific hand.
I think the mistake on both streets is not having a clear reason for betting.... neither hand is betting for value, and neither hand is betting as a bluff.
At these stakes you should take the ABC approach and not worry about constructing a range. Just worry about the specific hand and how that hand interacts with what villain might have.

I like the 4b (and prob call it off) vs a really agro villain. But am never folding to a 3bet unless their 3b range is super tight.
I think checking turn is the better play. The only hand he calls with to a shove is AJ (and I doubt he feels good about it). Whereas, if he’s agro, he will probably shove himself with any gut shot, and occasionally weak one pair hands. We give a free card to QJ, but this is likely in his shoving range a lot of the time anyway..

Getting a little off topic as wasn’t your original question. But I like betting 100% of the time on this flop with this hand against an agro reg. Give him the chance to think it’s a good flop to attack as it hits his range more than yours.

I’d definitely 3bet vs a loose fish for value. Especially if he check/folds the flop a lot.

This is an illustrated game theory book. And I think it’s probably the best and simplest to understand explanation of game theory. For 13 bucks you can’t go wrong.
