Love the video as well as your content in general. I think you do an amazing job articulating your thoughts and presenting the information in a clear and concise way. One thing missing (and perhaps i just overlooked this) is the effective stacks pre in these sims( as my preflop rangeconverter ranges have heavy deviations compared to yours. ) .

Also, if you could quickly glance at PIO's turn strats after we've taken the unorthodox aggressive 20-30% x/r in the CO following btn 30% cbet. IE what strat does pio employ on the turn once called given the very small spr? And then node lock vs gen pop tendencies ( massive under defending vs the c/r id assume)

Hope that was all clear enough for you to understand.

Keep up the great work!

TT hand: Villains 3b range is not remotely close to this.

So annoyed, just posted a lengthy response , came back and deleted it because i thought i missed something after rewatching the video, then realized i didn't. Or maybe im just an idiot...

I'm completely lost on why PIO advocates calling river hands such as 45 vs K5/A5/76 when its also prefers calling hands like J7 with a club as opposed to without a club. If its logic was to call rivers with hands that block his value combos, how is 45 better than K5/A5/76. Then again, if it's advocating calling hands that do NOT block his bluffs, how is calling J7 without a club better than calling J7 with a club? Especially since PIO recommends checking back flop as IP player with combos like A9-A7s w/ BD FD's (allowing him to get t o the river with even more combos of FD's) ?

Besides all that John, I really love your videos, and i'm super greatful for your work. I know i don't speak alone in saying that , along with how much your videos have helped my studying in terms of quality vs quantity. Keep kicking ass!

"given our hand" - Then what hands are most optimal for bluffing here? I mean, i understand that hero having spades or J/T/9 would block the combos of draws he has, therefore increasing the SDV in his overall range, but aren't all of our semibluffs going to do that? Don't we want to still have a bluffing range for river balance, even on board pairing cards otherwise we become exploited for only value betting said rivers?

around 16:00 with T743, why aren't we bluffing with this hand? We get to the river with what seems like the bottom of our range and no sdv. What are we bluffing here for balance? Would hands like QJTx/Q9Tx be better candidates for blocking purposes (assuming we bet F/T with those)

Also, when is it better to use key tells such as timing, instead of an overall game plan for our range? Like if we realize opponents timing tells, do we just play exploitative?

@BCrungood -Hi, I'm fairly new and trying to improve on the math in my game, so please forgive me if i'm incorrect, but i wanted to ask, how did you end up with his opponent can profitably 5b 37%? If hero's 4b calling AQ+/99 (68 combos) and 4b folding A2s-A7s/K4s-k8s(44 combos) doesn't that mean hero is defending his 4b's 68/112 which is 60% meaning villain needs to be 5b shoving >40% to autoprofit?
