Hello guys,

I would like to ask what is the default play in cash games / general convention for the spots where the villain is all in (let's say on the flop) and our equity and pot odds we are getting are equal? (Let's say he is a short stacker and only him and me are in the pot)

I can see opinions around in forums recommending to call at this spot but thinking about it my thoughts are why would you do that if that is 50/50 and in a long run you are not expecting +EV here?

Thank you,
EDC

I hope someone will share some thoughts on it.

Can someone please explain the logic of these super small flop bets? I mean what outcome do you really expect with it? Do you expect the villain to fold to this bet? I am really confused.

SCB14, I think it's about time to reveal villain's hand :-)

What is the logic behind only 1/3 pot c-bet on the flop?

James Hudson, what have you learned? :-)

I see your logic. Why did you choose this bet sizing? What's your thought process behind this sizing?

What do you hope to achieve with $2.00 bet sizing on the flop?

Hey, do you always 3bet (BB vs BN) / (all positions maybe) with 5x sizing? Why this sizing?

Hey, what is your logic / thought process behind your $3.05 bet sizing on the flop?

Hey kingkong,

Regarding Ax = Kx = Qx = 2x = 198:
12 x 12 = 144 (12 card combinations of unsuited cards - that's why times 12)
12 x 4 = 48 (12 card combinations of suited cards - that's why times 4)
6 combos of a pair.
144+48+6= 198

or

12*16 = 192 (12 times 16 combos of all let's say Ax) + 6 combos of a pair = 198.

I would appreciate your recommendations on that topic too.
