SB is shoving for 35x eff. can't find any pro in calling it down and can't find any pro in 3betting OR too, we got a decent hand to play post flop ip vs loosy guy with quite good IO and not so much RIO.

Imo wp.

As said by Raph prolly the only scenario in which I would 3bet OR it's a reshove one <25bbs

CombatCarl can't reply on my original post, btw I think shoving sounds more depolarized that raising big committing, because villain could think we are trying to use all our FE with an hand with quite good equity.

The other spot it's way easier to play, I like your sizing, here would't be surprising to see him x/shoving with some OP/FD+gutshot

We could also think of sizing smaller to induce, but we could get called sometimes and there are some scaries OTT that could freeze the action such as A/3/spades/

Preflop is fine, we could fold sometimes but flatting IP with an hand which has tons of IO and close to 0 RIO sounds good to me.

OTF I think shoving is fine, there's a quite wide range which we crush and that's calling down in this spot such as JJ+ with FD and AK with As imo.

I also think in that spot jamming depolarizes our range and could force him calling wider.

We also have to think that there are some scary OTT that could freeze the action.

Eventually WP imo.

That's the main point imo, we have to focus on his range OTT when he decides to raise our cbet, in game I thought this 3/7 turn raising was making our flat call +EV because there he could easily have some TT/JJ combos playing for value and protection ande maybe some draws which are using their equity and FE to win the pot right there OTT.

And that read take me to x/calling that river trying to force him jammin' with some underpairs and some busted.

Seat 1: HERO (€16,57)

Seat 2: vittoio21 (€2,24 in chips)

Seat 3: Dunban (€15,97 in chips)

Seat 8: klose9 (€4,44 in chips)

HERO: posts small blind €0,05

vittoio21: posts big blind €0,10

Dealt to HERO [Qc,Qh]

Dunban: raises to €0,40

klose9: folds

HERO: raises to €1,10

vittoio21: folds

Dunban: calls €0,70

*** FLOP *** [5d,4c,7c]

HERO: bets €1,30

Dunban: calls €1,30

Think flop it's a quite standard cbet, I can see lot of hands we are gettin value from, such as 88-JJ,OESD, FD

*** TURN *** [7h]

HERO: bets €2,60

Dunban: raises to €6

HERO: calls €3,40

Think that turn isn't a bad card for me, pairs the board, still cbetting to get values from the range written before.

When he raises I can't figure out which would be his range, is there something we crush here? Or flatting we are just valuetowning myself?

*** RIVER *** [2s]

HERO: checks

Dunban: is all in €7,57

HERO: calls €7,57

As planned we are just x/calling his bet on any blank, trying to keep his range wider.

HERO: shows [Qc Qh]

Dunban: shows [As Ac]

Let me know what do u think.

How would you play that hand? Think the key point is to figure out his range on the turn, isn't it?

Villain stats are 37/21/9 (small sample), he has a "raise vs cbet on the turn" stat of 43 on just 7 hands.

I'm 4betting 95% of times in this spot, something like 88+ AJs+ seems a suitable range facing this action, you are almost crushing that range, something like 8900 seems OK, didn't think he's folding TT/JJ.

As played I love that line and also your thoughts, don't know if i'm ever finding fold button in this spot cause we are really underappin our hand, but actually can't find much SDV he's turning in bluff. I agree he's valuetowning us very often in these spot knowing he can't get more than two streets of value.

NICE FOLD

Comment | ImaAggroFish commented on Does he have it?

I think b/f in this spot is quite weak, he could easily have OC+FD when he raises (obv 77/44/33 are in his range too)

Imo call > fold and evaluate turn

Imo in this spot the most profitable line it's

bet/check/bet

Prolly sizing something like 1/3 flop and 1/3 river getting value from some Jx (most should be improved in 2P turn/river)
