Don't want to sound patronizing but you definitely not battling decent stakes ie 3/6-10/20 to talk like this. If I am battling some guys thousands of hands/day I don't want them to know my hole cards because they will get a good grasp of how I play.

It is not like the player pool in mid/high stakes is huge enough to say "hey I don't know who that guy is". Even in anonym setup I kind of know quite fast who is playing.

Finally about the whole OTB thing, I think you are talking about Educa. The comparison is irrelevant. Do you realize that playing a guy 20k hand in a 6max setup where he vpip 30% and where 30% of hands played go at showdown is the same than having the whole 20k hand sample ? Then you gonna say but screenname change etc. but again player pool is quite small in mid/high stakes as far as people that battle.

I know my voice is nothing here but I do have a very very large experience playing the 2/4-10/20 game and I can't imagine how those things can be right for the player.

I have the exact same feeling for mid/high stakes. This is completely non-sense. I don't understand why nosebleed would be different.

The no-hud is fair but this just hurt those that play a superior strategy. I don't understand why people are not more vocal about it.

May 8, 2018 | 5:11 a.m.

I am really not happy with the "I can see my opponents cards" after the session. Why would I want to share a superior strategy to another player ?

This is mind blowing and super tilting. I don't mind the no HUD. But this is absurd.

Thank you for your answer. Do I need to fill something regarding Tax when I am there even though I do not pay anything ? Do I need to register myself as well ?

Post | JMBasquiat posted in Chatter: Information on tax in Bulgaria

Hi guys,

I am looking to move in Bulgaria and I would like to know what is the tax situation there. I can't find any information on the internet.

Is it tax free or is it a grey area ?

I would be happy if you can provide some information.

Hey Kevin,

Could you elaborate why you think 12bb would be fundamentally less trash hands ? I have hard times figure that out.

Thanks and keep up the good work :)

I feel it is a really high quality video. I mean it is only one table and there is not a ton of interesting spots (huge decision for your tournament life) but I feel like those "little" decisions matter as well.

I hope to see more contents from you in the coming weeks. And hopefully, not in 6 months :) !

Keep up the good work and GL for WCOOP.

It is such an excellent video. One of the best you produced Leo.
I hope to see more Odd_Oddsen in the future as well.

Please keep those kind of videos coming !!!!

Thanks !!!!

It was such a great video. The pace was also really good even if it is only 1 table !

I hope we gonna see more from you !

Hello Zaza,

Great video as always ! :) Happy new year !

I like your introduction. Please please, if you have some good stuffs like that you like to talk about, do it !!

I do agree that consistency is really important. Do you have something you like to do before a session ? Like meditation or something ?

I also like your positive mind about future of poker. It is refreshing to hear that ! Everybody is so so pessimistic nowadays.

Hand 1:

Preflop
I usually flat JTs.
My strategy is like flatting most suited broadway (AJs-, KQs-) and 3bet some good broadway (AQs+) with some suited connectors/one gappers (76s, 56s etc.).
Any thoughts on that ?
I really struggle with this SB vs CO spots and I have observed many variations by doing database analysis.
Also, I do not know what is a high squeeze percentage for BB that will make us 3betting more than flatting.

Flop
Don't you think it is too loose to cbet this combo without a bdfd ? It also allow us to have some straight in our range if we choose xC. I will also xC/xR most of my range on that board texture and with those positions because I feel like this board is smashing his range.

Hand 2:

I like your analysis especially for IP !

Hand 3:

Love it :)

Great hand selection ! GL in 2016 :)

Min 47: with the A7ss on Kc7hTd multiway. Could you elaborate what rivers would you bluff ? I got difficulties to see one because I feel like both players should have some straightdraw so even if we bluff some cards that can make some straights for us, I feel like it's kind of -EV to bluff there.

Hey,

I haven't checked yet but I'm excited to see it ! Thanks for doing this ;)

Jan. 7, 2015 | 7:08 p.m.

Hey Kevin,

Really really good video and glad you make it a lil longer than last one :)

3min: Table 1 with the 66, you said you like to overbet this river for value. I was wondering how look your bluffing range in that spot.
It's true that his range is kind of capped because he doesn't have much straight on that river but I feel like it's also true that lot of our ranges improves a lot on that river.
I feel like legitimate bluffs are: 95s, missclubs and...? For all that reason, I'd rather like a standard betsizing and even like 50/60% bet sizing. Your thoughts on that ?

22 min: Table 3 with the K4. I've got some difficulties to construct my bluffing range if I was Educa on that type of board. I guess I'm gonna bluff miss spades but then I don't know. Therefore on that river I'd go for a small sizing if I was Educa.
Nevertheless, you advocate a big sizing so I'm curious to see what bluffing range you assign to him.
Do you think Qd4x, Jd4x, Td4x etc would be legitimate bluffs ? Do we barrel those hands on the turn ? I mean I feel like we can barrel those hands with a small sizing in order to get value from Ax but I'm not sure about that.

23 min: Table 4 with Qs7s. You bet on AcJs2s. I don't really like betting those board when I call a 3bet because I feel like my range is really weak so the way I go is like checking almost my whole range unless the vilain got exploitative tendencies.
My reasoning is that we don't have much nutted hands (No AA, no JJ) on that board and our range is really bluff heavy whereas vilain got many bluffcatcher and nuts on that board texture. What do you think about that ?

Dec. 22, 2014 | 4:33 p.m.

Fold preflop is really really bad.

You can play with Equilab/Flopzilla or whatever and you'll see that it's a fairly easy call no matter what range you put.

I understand the argument that you can be dominated a lot if the guy is limp/reraise lot of weak Axo but still it's just a pot odds problem here.

I won't put a warning for calling this hand but for calling stuff like ATo, KTo, JTo etc. that can be more difficult to play depending on the guy's range.

As played I don't think it's necessery to shove that turn unless you think he's overbluffing this card with stuff like AQ or AK which are pretty unlikely because we've got already an Ace on our hand.

For that reason, I'd rather call flop/call turn. Raise/Gii is also perfectly fine. I don't know what is better EV wise. Just run some sims ;).

Cheers.

Hello Durian,

I just wanted to say that I really love your video and especially the series about BB defense. I feel like you have done one of the best PLO materials with that one.
This video is great and the mix between the fast pace of the zoom and your slow and detailled explanation is prettty good.

Anyway, I'd enjoy a video about some theoritical concepts such as defending the SB (both calling and 3betting) because I feel like it's a grey area in PLO and I can see some really various strategies here and there. Because you have done such a great job with the BB, I feel like maybe you could do a great series ;)

Thanks for the job that you did for RIO !

Hey Kevin,

First of all, thanks for all the vids you have done for RIO. It's always interesting materials

I haven't watched that video but I'm already disappointed to see "19 min". I was waiting for that video for so long so please if you can do an extended analysis after your HU Match.

Again, thank you for what you did.

Post | JMBasquiat posted in PLO: Big Blind Defense

Hello,

First of all, sorry for my poor english. English is not my native language and I hope this whole topic would be readable.
As a new PLO player, I am pretty much non confident about my blind play and I would like to have you guys opinions about this stuff.
I will try to take practical example in order to illustrate how I view this spot.

BB vs Early

1. HU Pot

It's a spot where I tend to play fairly loose vs an early postion open. The reason for that is my pot odds are great and I am quite confident that my equity realization is pretty high.
Nevertheless I hear here and there that I should only call hands that I will open UTG and I wish to hear you guys opinions about that. To me it's leaking money to just fold hands like 9944ss, AJ27ss, K345ss, K692ss, KhThJh2, 5h4c3d2s etc etc. I feel like our odds are so great that we should VPIP a lot of our hands and also that folding a hand is -100bb/100 whereas if we call we just have to do better than folding winrate.
- My question is how do you guys view this spot ?
- I also wish to know if there is some winning players out there that would mind to share preflop stats in that (how much does they VPIP against UTG open).
- I also wish to know how do you view 3betting preflop in that spot. I mean I wish to have a rough 3betting %tage estimation.

Just also a quick note about answers: please avoid stuff like it depends on postflop tendancies of vilain, how deep we are etc etc. because we all know that. My question is for regular 100bb games SSPLO/MSPLO.

2. Multiway Pot

Here is a spot where I am really really confused because I feel like that in theory we should play a lot more hands because of our pot odds but I also feel like we suffer from reverse implied odds quite much in PLO. So I tend to play really goods drawy hands in multiway pots that won't be too much dominated. Qhiflush or better and rundowns that are not too low (example: Qs6s78, 5s6s78 etc.). I won't play 5432 in that spot.

Here same questions as above.

BB vs BTN

It's a spot where I am pretty confident about my play but I wish to have you guys opinions. I'm pretty much VPIP 80% vs 50% opening range and 3betting around top 12%.
What do you think about that ?

Thanks all for your future participation. If there is lot of interests in that issue I might just do a similar topic for SB.

I would bet bigger the turn though. Shoving the river seems fine to me.
