Hey guys,
It has come to my attention that my math in general is not as strong as it needs to be. This only gets worse in game as I have been struggling with having enough "bandwidth" in game to make good algebraic approximations. Things only get worse when I play PKO's, PLO , more tables than I am comfortable with ect.
I have been a RIO member for 10+ years and I am having trouble finding videos fitting my needs. What are some the best math based videos elite or essential, old or new that could help me start from the ground up math wise so to speak?
Also are there any math related books that come to mind? I've attempted to read Mathematics of poker many time in my life and stopped because it was above my head and very dense especially for my skill level at the time reading the book. I plan on giving this book another go but if Mathematics of poker is a caliculus book, are there any good algebraic poker math books that come to find?
Hope this makes sense, thanks.

@ around 4 min Preflop KKQ7ss 17BBs fold is really cool and I mess this spot up a lot. From the CO's prospective would you ever play an open limp strategy? If you did play one seems like KKQ7 would be a reasonable candidate right?
Lets say i was playing a 22$ nightly tournament with a lot of passive play and a very low 3bet % compared to equilibrium. If we take the exact same spot, is KKQ7ss closer to a limp or raise under these low stakes dynamics. Does that make sense?
Love your work thanks

Great video, your process on making videos is getting alot stronger you can tell. I like the idea of episodes and this is helping me a bunch.
I would make each video 10ish mins shorter and just make more episodes. Keep it up

Great video, the shorter we are the less attractive calling OOP becomes correct?
Lets say we are 50bbs do you have a flatting range OOP in the exploitable high rake environment?

I paused the video and couldn't really think of the answer to that question myself.
If I had to guess - by opening to 4X you put to much money in preflop with the weaker parts your opening range making you too vulnerable to a 3bet(more expense when you have to fold) or allowing Hero to make the easier adjustment of playing tight?
Maybe 4x open is weaker because it doesn't allow opponents to make the mistake of over folding preflop to a smaller size?

Really love the way you broke down the AKx board at around 29:51, I have been close to thinking about this spot the right way and this breakdown really crystallized the concept for me.
This video like always was worth the time TY
Had to google what preparatory means not gonna lie. One of the best videos I have watched in a long time.
