Not checking or folding with that spr...

Sept. 11, 2014 | 5:50 p.m.

Spr is way too low for anything other than flop jam.

Sept. 2, 2014 | 5:56 p.m.

Reviewing other players would be great if you're looking for vids to make.

Aug. 30, 2014 | 11:07 p.m.

Great vid man.

@13.30 How do you feel about just flatting this hand vs a gerenic opponent with this stack depth? And how about 200bb deep?

Aug. 28, 2014 | 4:47 p.m.

yeah, pot-folding turns rare and pot-bluffing turns is really rare. We're up in our range, but still behind the range he's repping no?

push and pray yo.

but yeah. pretty standard jam.

Aug. 24, 2014 | 2:08 p.m.

Wtf? What kind of line is this? Do you have stats on him xc in 3bet pots oop when not pre flop aggressor? Isn't it super standard for all of his wraps to cbet otf? Problem is that the T hits your range so well...

Aug. 24, 2014 | 6:45 a.m.

Yeah feels disgusting but I'm leaning towards a fold

Aug. 24, 2014 | 6:36 a.m.

Xr otf limits his ability to bet 2pair, over pairs, air etc. I think the xc is good and definitely xr ott. I'm not really a fan of leading this board vs a gut who (still) cbets 56%. We need to try to get two bets out of him; if I'm leading, I'm going to need to know his float stats first.

Aug. 24, 2014 | 6:34 a.m.

X jam looks good; still have plenty of equity if we get called

Aug. 23, 2014 | 6:14 a.m.

keep this thread going. fight fight!

Aug. 21, 2014 | 7:49 a.m.

This is a super interesting hand. Any hud stats available?

Aug. 20, 2014 | 8:21 a.m.

yeah i think thats the ideal line

Aug. 20, 2014 | 8:06 a.m.

yeah, sorry, by worse*

Aug. 20, 2014 | 8:05 a.m.

This, Sir, is an excellent thread.

Aug. 18, 2014 | 5:44 p.m.

Ugh... xr otf and he can punish us on so many turn cards. Also we no clean outs let alone nut outs...

I agree with all of the above, specifically about pre.

Also this feels like it could be a "no 4" more often than not. Closing my eyes and calling both streets.

Making in depth notes about the hand afterward either way.

Aug. 18, 2014 | 2:05 p.m.

Flop x and turn xr aren't good.  You have to assume you're not getting called by better when you xr ott.

His turn bet looks silly, but we might still have the best hand and we've picked up wheel gut shot outs, so I'm probably calling given the price and making a decision otr

Aug. 18, 2014 | 2 p.m.

When you say the "bet is definitely fine", you mean ott?

But even if we get raised ott, we're calling it off right?

Aug. 18, 2014 | 1:54 p.m.

Yeah 100bb deep I think the xj is good; only reason I didn't xc otf here is that I didn't want to get myself into a possibly gross xf spot ott when facing a psb. By that logic though, I should bet/bet; which put me in this spot to start with, so I think 140bb deep the turn spot is the biggest issue.

do you have the link to the peter jennings post?

"Play solid, get value from ur strong hands, only bluff proven nits when their ranges are weak and maybe only small bluff in small pots vs fish w airy ranges and u will crush these stakes and be at plo50 within 2 months."

-yeah you're annoyingly correct there. i use "annoying" as its so fucking hard not to pull the trigger when villains hands face up. but i guess that's part of the required skill set for these stakes.

Aug. 17, 2014 | 7:55 a.m.

basically this has to be one of the candidtaes to balance out from when you have AAxx id think

Aug. 17, 2014 | 7:29 a.m.

lol

surely you can 4bet this to balance out the AA combos/ more specifically 4bet this when the sb has high 3bet% and the button fold to 3/4bets frequently enough

Aug. 17, 2014 | 7:28 a.m.

Is this a situation where folding, calling and 4balling pre are all reasonable?

Aug. 17, 2014 | 6:44 a.m.

So what ranges xc/xc/blocking bet? I'd assume a lot of the busted draws would bet larger and 2p/6's trying to get to showdown to block bet. Although the argument can be made that most 25plo players get stationey with top two, and wouldnt blocking lead; which in a way makes me feel strongly again like his hand consists of a lot of shitty sixes

Aug. 16, 2014 | 7:24 a.m.

I'm probably getting stacked here. As said above, not enough boats on board to make me fold at this point in the hand. Even weak passive players know to min raise otf wAKxx.
