Taking advantage of a small window of opportunity
It all started with this email about a week ago...
I receive these emails time to time and I just logged in my account to see something wired. I have three deposit challenges that require depositing $20! Two $5 spin tickets and one that came with this email. Funny thing is, those two $5 tickets challenges was about to expire in 2 hours so I was super lucky to open the email when I received it ((#^.^#)
I was 4 to 1 stack size heading into heads up at the other $5 ones with $10 prize but luck wasn't on my side. But can't complain the result. Do you guys receive these emails often? I might receiving because I am not playing on Stars at the moment but I wanna know if active players receive the offer as well.

A Weekday Grind on Unibet
Hey guys! I hope you are having a wonderful week. I wasn't expected today's session was filled with Recs because it's Thursday, but ohh boy it was crazy. Won just over 800bb in roughly 1,500 hands and you won't believe plays that these people are making!
First one, I 3 bet vs UTG with QQ and got a big 4 Bet from CO. I kinda sigh-jammed hoping I'm against AK, not AA or KK...
I mean, I got second nuts flash with straight flash draw but he could have Adxd...?
AND THIS ONE!! This one really killed me lmao
I check jammed and he folds for 0.66bb !!! I guess he is a tournament player then. Good fold sir (｀・ω・´)ゞ

NL50Spot
Hey guys! Today I came across this spot and I thought it's worth hearing your thoughts.
MP is a tight reg who opens 3bb, CO cc, I squeeze, BB is a big-time REC who we were all going after cc my squeeze, then BOOM, here comes the 4 bet.
My Initial thoughts, if MP had 55-TT he probably calls. JJ-QQ,AKo 4 Bet shove. So the only hands go 4 bet with this sizing is heavily towards KK+ and maybe AKs?? Obviously, my play is either 5 bet jam or fold.
I ended up folding because when I jam, BB might still come with QJo or something and MP is never folding. This play made sense for me at the moment and also right now as I'm writing but I also want to hear your opinion so let me know what you think!!

I can only start playing at the end of peak time which is around midnight UK time, I see about 40-50 people in average on a weekend. I feel the field is pretty soft compare to other major sites so definitely worth checking imo (◠‿◕)

Hello everyone! I'm Tibby and as some of you might be noticed from the title, I'm a Japanese poker player who is currently on the way to moving up to Mid stakes. I started playing poker back in 2010 and finished my bankroll challenge from $50 to $1,500 in a couple of years. After that, I wasn't playing much but poker was always in my heart somewhere deep inside. At the end of 2020, I've started my poker journey again and this time, I am fully committed to going dive into this wonderful path and I need your support!
As you may guess, the Japanese poker scene is still very small due to the country's regulation (It's not illegal but also isn't clearly legal), so I've decided to join this community which was created by the people who are nothing but pursuing greatness in poker. I would like to treat this thread as my "campfire" where I can come back from my battle to discuss, relax and enjoy the comradery.
So I welcome all kinds of comments from poker advice to question about Japanese culture. I love to connect with you guys any way I can and share my experience as well. Here are things about me.
- Early 30s. Living in Japan but planning to move to Canada early next year (I graduated from a Canadian College)
- Currently playing NL50 at Unibet, taking a shot at NL100 on a weekend.
- Pretty good at FIFA (Top 500 in the world at H2H), Plays Warzone occasionally.
- Not so much into anime. The only things I loved were Naruto and Death Note.
- A movie freak. I love western movies! Not so much anymore but back in 2014, I watched over 200 movies in one year.

At the start of the video, you were opening some hands from an early position with 3bb but as the video goes you went back to 2.5bb. What's your recommendation for opening sizes in a high-rake environment?
