Hi Onkleb, congrats for that steady improvement. I wonder what are like the key parts of daily grind that have built up your confidence in your strategy?
I dont know if apart from having a winning graph are other things that made you feel confident, maybe in your daily performance or in some review after some x hands or days or grind.

I prefer to exploit the passiveness most of the times with open shoving, and put him on a decisive spot otr if he has the nuts ott.
That switch in the board texture on the river leads me to take the simplest approach when Im confident of villian range and possible mistakes, unless I have a note that suggest me to lure him on that spot.

Hello everyone, I couldnt post this hand on the hand history (told me it was invalid), but I prefer to use it more like an example of a more general question, I´ll try to explain my best.
https://www.weaktight.com/h/59268c1dd39043d12b8b45a4#=

I felt the need to detox my approach of copying and justify with no arguments my plays, and only a sight read of stats, I noticed some player pools keep doing the same especially in micros, and that the exploitative response wasn't always reach some certain percentaje of defense.

So I started with the basics, not paying off to much and transparent value betting, but now it wasnt because of following some rules of any strategy book or something, the experience and failure made me realize that the simple and correctly justified is a decent way.

But now the player pool isnt made of only those exploitative players as I am moving up, now there are those solid that know this, and are in their way of realizing their mistakes, so now I get back into that labyrinth of stats and numbers where I dont want to give up this simplified approach, I dont want to get back on applying Janda concepts bad and copy moves from RIO videos that I cannot fully justify.

I really enjoy the simplicity, but if I am going to work my ass off to find those new exploitative spots, I would like to know how do you think to reach a conclusion in this spot.

Villian 27/18 57 hands
Hasnt 3bet yet, Can I assume is calling with premium? Or is normal for 57 hands?
With this amount of hands, I cannot conclude something about its postflop play. So I decide to making him pay out of odds and I go with a assumption of their range, enough premium and draws. But then again, a kindergarden range description..

OTT I think the same range is calling, except some overpairs.
Why I suppose this is their strategy? Well i micros, I dont think they are doing a read and exploting mine high-cbet or my high fold to raise ott by experience .
But if it does, how can I combat this guys that are also exploiting on those hot spots? And more difficult when I dont have enough hands on them....can we say that they are saved by the bell of a tiny sample size?

OTR, now my pool read tells me to fold, but my desire to reach solid conclusions tell me "You dont know how to justify this call in a solid way"

So, I want to read different approachs. I would like an answer like, men you got stuck in 2009 play, we are now in the new wave of solvers, take this glasses and start to view the game of today.

Im a terrible writer I hope you got my point.

I really like your approach, but I think even in 250 hands you wont find many interesting spots to improve soon, facing them and knowing how to response will help you to see more hidden mistakes, it may happen that a big part of that low amount of hands are easy spots and you are getting stuck in volume and chances to improve.

I think that villian being IP can found some flats with some broadways as KJs,QJs,KQs and QQ+ sometimes, I dont understand why the small size OTF, I guess its for deny equity to some backdoors ,but I think that maybe missed value if you think you are ahead.

OTT , you check call QQ, JJ, KK and probably some AA, but why?

If you can confidently check call against his betting range, a Q OTR shouldnt be a problem, but what about any other card?

So if you think he has enough bluffs and FD OTT, which cards are you bluffcatching and which one folding to different sizes? (I think also may be a good option to raise OTT if you assume this =))

If the previous assumption is correct, I find a call there as his range is so narrow and capable of doing that, but for my experience on those stakes you should have a solid read on the villian aggresion on diferent runouts and its river play , to make a call.

Greetings.

"You cant make him fold a better hand" I will tattoo that phrase in my finger, to see it every time I shove in wet boards with top range.

Hello guys!. I started to play regularly , 6 max cash game, in micros, I got tired of an ABC strategy , and started using some Janda ranges and exploting frecuencies, but I think I faced a down after 100K hands more or less, and my leaks showed pretty bad, seemed like a boomerang where every new "explotative" play played against me, I reviewed and noticed pretty bad plays, but some of them where not that bad and was mostly coolers and suck outs 75% vs 25% (so I believe can be categorized as variance) so I want to polish that new things that I tried out.

I found CREV, and I think is awesome, but taking into account im in micros, I know I can get lead to deep conclusions , but keep in mind a basic explotative strategy in mind for the 5/5 which 3 bet vs UTG and 4betting AJs I dont think will be EV+ many times.

Now the question, do you know any other software with similar capabilities of CREV? I think its a good investment but I dont know if there are even better options...

Greeetings.
