Following the tactics trainer from OpenFaceSolutions the decision is the safe play: Qh in the back and Qs in the middle for the flush.

Its is (by OFSolutions) 27.4 EV agains 23.6 of putting Qs in from or 23.3 putting the Ad.

I guest the principal reason of that is that only have 1 out for the straight flush. And putting the Q on top you have the same outs to makes FL (1 king), so the queen doesn't change anything. And putting the Ad you have 2 (the Kc and one more ace, Ah), but you have some probabilities of fouling here.

Hello everyone,

I tried to find some info about the expected value of the Fantastyland in Pineapple, but i couldnt find anything close to accurate.

I found a post here in runitonce about it with 13p value, but i guest this is talking about standar OFC. By the way, is this right?

So, my question is: any of you have the EV of the Fantasyland for Pineapple? Is this number based on math or in experience of play?

I would like to hear all your points and advices about it.

Thanks a lot ;)

I guess the best translation would be Are you tense? in slang portuguese.

I agree with Ralphy.
IF you want to improve your tournament skills this is clearly not the type of tournament to do it. Structure is awful even for a hyper. If its building bankroll then cash game is where you have to be, try to get stacking or selling action to afford that game.
About the tournament just forget to play with any speculative hands, play only with your premiums and when everyone is short apply not only GTO to pick your shoving spots but also try to squeeze spots that only bad players give you fold equity. don't trap players that just like to see flops, as they don't any idea of sizes you can get away with reshoving a lot, always pay attention to their open size bet tendency.

Post | aVegan posted in Chatter: Spin and Go Challenge

Why spin and gos?
As a live mtt player I have big leaks on hyperturbos and short handed game. Spin and Go strategy offer me both.
As a newly parent and a parent to be here at the house can be a bit epic at times. Spins offer me the flexibility to make many short breaks to help out my girlfriend or my son.
As a spewer and easily tilted player I never delt very well with swings. On Spins variance is quite big and I need to handle it to win.
My motivation wasnt quite up at the moment and my poker quite estagnated. I needed a challenge, heres one.

I will be posting my performance, at the table, mentally and physically.

Any advices? Feel free to share.

For the last year that my live changed a lot since my wife got on the later stages of pregnancy and we now have an 8 month old baby.
We booked a flight to Portugal to be with my family (im portuguese and we live in Slovakia) on the 2nd September and I was informed that I have a freeroll of 5,5k cash plus 5k worth of tournaments tickets for the winner.
We are 28 players and I have the 3rd biggest stack.
What to do now? On ICMizer I cannot calculate ICM for more than 15 players, I tried as we are only 15 and my EV is over 900 euros and 450 if I remove the 5ksponsorship. And a new plane ticket is 180euro and I will let my pregnant wife and kid travel alone with bags and be with my family for 4 days without me...
Please share your thoughts and Im so divided between being family oriented or professional about my $EV.
Thanks

Comment | aVegan commented on Rebuy/addon strategy

Nice points there Nick thank you.
Ive seen some people both live and online do a strategy of late registration plus addon to know how much they are spending and as they know they have an edge on short stack, does it make sense? Yes
But when a player is confortable with big stacks and post flop game why to be afraid to rebuy 11x? Is not going to happen often and if it is, isnt the same as open a new sit? Even better as the rebuy is not raked. Or is the only to not resist the temptation to play different poker just because we can rebuy? Or even cut down variance? As I see it, its plusEV to start from the beggining and as deep as possible when you have the edge. Any special bankroll management to have in these cases or to have a cap on rebuys for control purpose?
Thanks for your sharing and thanks Joao for the interessing topic.

Post | aVegan posted in Chatter: Hearts Full - The Dream

Hello everyone from the community.
I-m new here and new to the online world and the online poker at least from a professional perspective.
Im a live pro trying to make the change to the online and my goal is by the end of the year have a steady income so I can support my family (im father of a 7month old baby and my wife will deliver the second in January / February) and to start my own association/poker network called HEARTS FULL.
My dream is to gather a significiant amount of money every month so we can support bright ideas from social entrepeneurs so they can deliver the goods without the concern of raising money. I already have people and associations looking forward for this idea and colaborate with the project, Education against Discrimination in Viena and Bratislavas primary schools. Raise awareness for the importance of breastfeeding in Slovak hospitals. Be a Cause video campaings . Im an Earthling and many more projects can start and run.

How am I looking for?
.Coaching both for strategy and mental game the best and cheapest possible, if you are one or know one let me know.
.If you participate in live events, both cash or mtt festivals you can forward me your contact as for now a donation is made from every player that goes with the Hearts Full reference to the festivals I have deal with and I am creating a newsletter to send to the players with promos (last longer competitions, hotel discounts, etc) and upcoming festivals.
.Im also look for advices from you guys on how to make the move. I started playing 3.5$ 45man sng on ps and im getting along but still not fully familiar with all the tools I can use to create an edge, (I use HM on a really basic level yet). So I have till the end of the year (most of the time Im out of home playing the live circuit... for now thats what puts the food on the table) to get my ROI going so I can dedicate to that full time.
SO.... in conclusion,
- Which videos should I watch?
- Which pros should I follow?
- What are the best, 18, 45 or 180 man?
- How to optimize my HM?
- Which other tools should I use?
- Whats the optimal number of tables to play with the best ROI Volume ratio?

Thanks for reading and participating >)
