Well, this is 50nl (which is what I play) nobody folds an ace, furthermore if villain is calling our 3b with an ace and then hit top pair, why would he fold? I mean he called with a weak hand and he is now on top of his range, so no, he is not going to fold enough to justify trying to take him off his top pair.

I like 1 street bet and done, don't mind any street, flop/turn or river r fine, we going to pot control loads of our squeeze range anyway.

Good post, it looks like you are with the right mentality to beat the downswing and start to improve your game, bare in mind that everyone tilts, people just tilt in different levels, it's very important to be aware when you start warming up, for instance I start tilting when a reg sucks out on me and then I think (wtf why can I not suck out as well, is just the others?), I know at that point I got to insta quit, no matter if I am up or down a lot, just gotta quit.

I feel like everyone has a point where the feeling of injustice takes over the mouse, what we want is to be aware we reached that point and just quit before spewing unnecessary money.

What you can do is have a diary or even a piece of paper, call it mental weakness or something and start writing a short sentence of how u feel every 30 mins or so.

For example:
19:00 - Starting session feeling gr8, feel focused
19:30 - Did 2 bluffs that didn't work out, still playing good
20:00 - Shit i'm down 4 buy ins I have to get it back, feels like they always have it
20:30 - How can these ppl being so lucky, down 12 buy ins, I am gonna get it back

I mean this clearly shows what u r thinking before you go on tilt, the exercise is to spot the negative feelings so you start slowly be aware of your feelings and work on them before they take over.

Gl man hope you crush those donkeys (y)

Completley agree with this and I would snap him off (but I am a station)

Everyone comments on the turn or river but nobody says anything about flop which I think it's strange, villain leads into 2 opponents for a pot size bet, to me that looks insanely strong and I really don't want to get in anything weaker than a set on the flop (I wouldn't raise with anything btw), I am basically only calling all my range that wants to continue.

edit: missed KGBeard talking about the flop

Remember that when u run bad u will doubt about urself and ur game, loads of those calls might be just fine but because you are running bad you think they are wrong, flopzilla like arthur recommended it's a good tool to analyse ranges, that will give u a start to get ur confidence up.

I lost 1.2k last month playing 50nl HU when I should be break even, I am a winning player but still EV wise I was breaking even, that's because I did loads of bad plays, guess what I am trying to say is that unless you are very good in terms of mental control you will be playing worst than normal because you are not confident, it's important to get ur confidence back and keep ur head up, only way to beat the downswing is to keep playing and study more and more but if u think u r "cracking" then take a break study ur game, watch some videos and come back more confident and stronger than ever.

I would def check that turn since his line looks like QQ/JJ or a monster waiting to trap, guess if you betting this turn you could get 2 streets of value from hands that r trying to pot control so there r some merit on that but by default I am very suspicious when ppl just check those cbetable boards.

When you get raised I guess I just puke and call turn and decide river.

when he overbets river I puke twice... close my eyes and call..... and cry.

I think it depends on what kind of fish he is, there are spew fishes and there are some that want to see every flop and then barrel big when they hit, he def has a strong range here, even tho he is a fish he thinks, he is betting in 3 players on a multi way pot, I don't think he will ever do this with top pair or any hand that u have crushed, especially on that turn, he either has a flush or a str8 imo, I would fold and wait for a better spot, that board sucks for u.

Yes because I am trying to work this out as I go along, sorry if it is confusing, I should have worded and thought about this better (excuse: it's my 1st post), I guess what I am asking is: is this a clear 2 barrel? should I just trust snowie and check/fold this hand?

Sept. 30, 2014 | 9:44 p.m.

I 3b that hand as I do with 64 because I want to be able to have "board coverage" otherwise I think my range would be to face up and skewed towards big cards, this way I can hit every board and represent way more hands, that's what I always did, but I can be persuaded that I am wrong...

SB: $153.52
BB: $155.64 (Hero)
Preflop ($0.75) (2 Players)
Hero was dealt 9 8
SB raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $4.50, SB calls $3
Flop ($9.75) 5 T 3 (2 Players)
Hero bets $4.64, SB calls $4.64
Turn ($19.03) 5 T 3 Q (2 Players)
Hero bets $11.55, SB folds
Snowie says that we should just check/fold here.

Since we have:
- a hand with some equity
- our opponent is going to float us a lot since we don't connect well with this flop
- We going to have many hands on this turn that we want to bet.

Should we not bluff this turn with some hands that picked up some equity or we going to have too many bluffs?

After thinking this throught we going to have:
- KJ/AJ/J9/64/98s/AK as a bluff
- AT/T9/QT/KQ/KT for value

This looks at first sight as a balanced range.

I am not sure what to make of this, it seems such a clear spot to just barrel again but now I am unsure.
Final Pot
Hero wins $17.78
Edited post for clarity since I should have worded and thought about this better.

guess my questions really are:
1 - Can we double barrel this hand on the turn?
2 - Should I just trust snowie in situations like this?

Hi Guys,

I am new here, I have played around 200k hands zoom HU this year and would like to review my stats and try to find out what I have been doing wrong, I use HM2 and I have been a 2bb/100 winning player, I am quite sure I am not playing well and need to have an idea how to find my leaks, don't see any filter specific for "software" unfortunately ;(

I would also try to learn tools like CREV, anyone knows any good videos? any feedback would be very appreciated.

Thanks.
