I think a big part of the reason your A42 sim is being checked back so often is because your bb range has a nut advantage with 53s at 100% weight where IP doesn’t.

Are there any sources of hand range examples besides the ones at the end of Applications of NO Limit Holdem by Matt Janda ? If not i think a new updated one should be made with analysis as I think it would be a great study guide .

I want to apologize if this is messy and hard to read haven't done this before and trying to keep it clean and well organized..

-This was my first attempt at how i guess i would play my range "usually"

so the situation i ran was 6 max, HJ vs BB

I assumed my range to be about this

22+, A2s+, K9s+, Q9s+, J9s+, T9s, 98s, 87s, 76s, 65s, ATo+, KJo+, QJo

I ran a flop of KdJc7c in a hu spot vs the Bb

Red- Value bets
Green- Checks
Blue were my c bet bluffs

First thing i noticed was that i have so many checks on a board were i assume we have a large range advantage.
second, It seemed to me we have way too many VB vs bluffs.
another thing i noticed was that i wasn't going to have many middle or bottom pairs after i bet flop..
Also, I've been using small sizings with no real idea of why and guessing from the way i am playing my ranges in this example i should be using a more polar sizing.

SO this needs some work..

I ran this same spot through Pio but would like to start a discussion about the mistakes im making while building before we discuss the Pio results.

Thanks in Advance for anyone who reads/helps out

Im currently doing a 20k hand challenge vs an opponent who is playing close to a gto strat.
I dont have much of an online or hu background, so kinda just looking for somewhere to start so that i have more of an understanding of each spot. Kinda feels like im just clicking buttons atm.

With the k10dd hand at 7:25 what type of hands are you looking to float with on this axx board?

Oct. 16, 2015 | 6:57 p.m.

Okay thank you very much

July 7, 2015 | 9:15 p.m.

Hero is winning V1 is a good thinking reg TAG .

V1 raises the co 800 eff hero calls on btn with khkd (he doesnt give much action vs regs and there are 3 fish behind.

Flop goes 4 (100) ways, flop is 479ccc. V1 bets 25 into 100 Hero calls others fold.

Turn 3d (150) Villian checks hero bets 85 V calls.

river 6h- V checks, Hero bets 185. Is this too thin? What hands can we get called by?

(He folded aa face up this is why im wondering if it is too thin.

Thanks

UTG+1 opens to 15 young guy seems to be some what tight, mp calls and Hero makes it 65 in sb With qcqs BB older guy cold calls utg+1 calls and mp calls.

Flop(260)- 10JQHH- Hero checks, and it checks through.

Turn 4h- Hero bets 125 BB calls and UTG+1 calls.

River-2s hero bets 250 and villian ships 1100.

Im just curious what you guys think of his line on the flop turn a river and if its wrong how you guys were prefer playing it and would you always stack off on the flop.

Mp-Has AK in his range as seen in prior hands and also has k9,910. BB has ak in his range but doesn't have other straight combos. Not really sure about UTG+1

June 19, 2015 | 6:05 a.m.

yeah sorry about the mix up. I felt like i'd be repping so strong and it would be very hard for him to call with ax. Like you said just drawing i wasn't sure if i was getting the right odds. i was also afraid of getting bluffed off my perceived range of jx, and obv he knows this, so i assume he'd shove river? So, maybe i should just be bluff catching on turn and unimproved river or do you feel thats a spew?

Hero has about 23k, Blind levels are 200/400 folds to jacobson he makes it 500 in co i call btn with kdjd both blinds call. Hero is looked at as very tight up so far and has let him get away with a lot of raises and hasnt played back at all.
Flop is j73r One diamond. Jacobson bets 2100, hero calls. Turn is ad, he bets 5300. My first question is 3 betting pre a good option or is the hand too strong on the btn? On the turn are there any merits to turning our hand into a semi bluff? If we decide to call turn and i have about 14k left and he bets brick rivers can we ever call or do we have to give up?

Great video TY, love how precise you think about where you are in your own range.

At around minute 40 you reference AEjones audiobook. Does anyone have a link to where I could find this? I could not manage to find it on a google search.
