Thanks for the great videos! Really enjoying them.

Around 28 min, you defend the SB w.KTo. I find it hard to come up with SB ranges in general when not 3betting (vs all position basically..).

I do flat a very wide range when the BB is a weak player but without, it's hard and if we 3bet all hands we want to play our 3b range becomes way to wide.

Maybe you could make a topic about this and the same goes for calling IP, then getting sqeeuzed and how we would like to defend versus that? Or give some advice here, would be great!

Thanks, looking forward to the next one!

Quality of mtt video's are very poor, only saw 2 video makers that I liked. Further not worth the money. Sauce and Galfond on the other hand are the nuts and justify the membership.

Why does the sample video show MattLiquer?? Is this the run where you got 3rd in the 100r David ;-)?

Priority would be forum organizations and browsing through it. You cant recognize new posts, comments etc.

Still really impressed by the design and lots of potential! Looks like a coaching site that can become very interactive. Also the video player is the best by far.

Would be cool to see who liked it though.. a little popup like FB..

Dec. 9, 2012 | 11:56 p.m.

^Even more likely since people dont understand stack sizes and will flat you with a way higher frequency.

Dec. 9, 2012 | 6:51 p.m.

I dont care what is :) It should be impoved because its a big mess :)

and hello to you too ;-) Gl today, sunday funday.

Dec. 9, 2012 | 6:49 p.m.

And for the posted HHs.. post the # of BBs in the stack sizes

will just use this as my ramble page..

Dec. 9, 2012 | 5:46 p.m.

And one more comment...

Why can't you see who liked your post?

Dec. 9, 2012 | 5:43 p.m.

Yes! I agree. Thats why I like to avoid putting myself into these type of spots and fold a very high % of my range there PF because ICM is so relevant.

"for me it would depend on my feel for the timing and how others had been playing up to the FT."

This...

* How often do you expect to get to showdown when you get flatted and you have 88? If a player flats vs your stack size, he's going to have a relatively strong range and often overcards. GIven his pos. advantage, he'll often float us and put pressure by making us decide what to do.

* If we open 88 and the flop comes Txx. You'll cbet? x/f? With a hand like A5s or JQs you can cbet and barrel turn the with gutshots, fd's etc. and we'll put a lot of pressure given our turnbet is basically an all-in bet for villain given he's OOP..
Just so much more options then with a small PP.

* If we hit top pair we dont need to get it in obviously, but we do block more combos that makes cbetting Axx flop w.A5s or QJs better then w.88

no i do have a r/f range. But I think you should play the spot/table/dynamics more then your hand in this scenario.

In terms of solid poker, I don't think its bad to have a close to a 100% r/gii range w.our stack size on a major FT being UTG with good players behind, being 9 handed. You can still change your plan in the hand based on actions/timing tells/sizings etc. and fold the btm of your gii range if you believe that's the right move.

Hope what i ramble makes sense.

This is a perfect example...

* we can reply on a comment. But can't reply on a reply to stay on topic (which is the sense of the structure of the forum and the comments on the comments).

* Espen posts a reaction on my reply.. However, I only see that he posted something on my reaction after looking very good... Now with the forum being quiet, it's not that bad. But imagine it being active. People will get lost.

Implement something like Facebook has. If I post somewhere I'll get a notification somewhere saying that someone replayed on my post. And in the topics, color the new posts or give the title a red (colored) header...

Dec. 9, 2012 | 4:46 p.m.

might add 89s 9Ts in it

Dec. 9, 2012 | 3:46 p.m.

So let's say in this spot. U'll rejamms TJs+ KJo+ 22-66 A2-Ts A8o-ATo.. seems solid.

Dec. 9, 2012 | 3:35 p.m.

edit on my own post.
If we hold 63 he wont have 33 anymore obviously and the odds he'll show up with A3s are getting smaller, but I still don't think that changes all that much. These spots vs unknown (he most likely had it in that 5bet pot) deserve credit unless you have a reason to believe not too.

Dec. 9, 2012 | 1:28 p.m.

I don't think enough players are capable enough to x/r here on the river and turn 78 into a bluff often enough for it to be good. Besides that you have the bottom of your value range there so I don't mind letting it go in this spot, unless I have some sick read.

For someone I don't know I think this line is most often showing 88 33 A3s. So if you are holding 63s or something we'll have to fold as well.

Dec. 9, 2012 | 1:25 p.m.

Yes! I very much like this post.

But I feel like you still end up calling marginal hands vs shoves and then my equity and ability to do so goes down (look you called ATs. Im sure you won't fold KQs or A8s). So if you adjust already by calling lighter (which I assume you would do) then does shoving extremely loose become that profitable at all???

It's not like I can put so much pressure on you and you are afraid to make calls because of money. If a random person is sitting there, it's a different story.

With the current line-up I feel that being to loose with my shove range there would result in a higher variance way to make the same money I can make doing with less swings (which is a big +, especially in a HS turbo MTT.

You agree?

PS: I really like your post/thoughts but please use enters to make it a lot easier to go over your post :).

Dec. 9, 2012 | 1:16 p.m.

def, but i dont hate playing with a 30BBs stack and take it over overshove aggression.. I dont think its necessary and you can get as much $EV in the long run and lower variance, not doing that.

If I feel im totally outclassed I could justify those moves.

Dec. 9, 2012 | 3:38 a.m.

a ok. you mean Ax handes. I read aces as AA...

Ax i rather 3b/c or 3b/f in those spots.

Well. for me personally I prefer to play poker w.30BBs then jamm pfai parties :) so ill probably only jamm 22-66 there. I dont care if its exploitable or not because I wont do it in many spots (final 3 is different then 27 left at a full ring table) and results won't really change (88+ calls anyway)

Dec. 9, 2012 | 3:20 a.m.

^i mean raise/shove obviously..

Dec. 9, 2012 | 3 a.m.

No why would you?? PPL are r/c a lot less often then when they would 3b/c so it would be a leak to include that in your shove range imo.

Dec. 9, 2012 | 2:58 a.m.

Can you post the result here?.. How did you view my shove range?

Dec. 9, 2012 | 2:44 a.m.

Not even sure really w.KQs. But i guess ill have that sometimes... maybe 50% of combos.. the rest is 22-66

Dec. 9, 2012 | 2:39 a.m.

sometimes KQs, mostly 22-66

Dec. 9, 2012 | 2:38 a.m.

Dec. 9, 2012 | 2:38 a.m.

how would you view his call range there?

Just keep posting here.. ;-)

The forum is pretty unclear to see whats new and whats not.
Showing who posted last helps as well..

And the FEED could be only with the title and the poster;
Imagine you are following 20-30 people (in the future).. its just a huge mess, the feed.

Cant get the HH feature to work so Ill do it manually...

final three 109c Turbo.. Payouts:
1. 12515.40
2. 9180
3. 6915.60

Andy BTN 30BBs
Me SB 36BBs
Maxim Lykov reg 26BBs

We have 55. BTN raises 2BBs and its up to us...

In these spots where IR is a v.good player it sucks to do anything..
- rejamm its to easy to range us.
- 3b/c sucks
- 3b/f sucks
- fold is nitty/sucks
- call is horrible..

So which sucky play do you like best???......
