bvb 89 hand your break down on how you would construct different sizing is gold.

Interesting. Thanks for showing the nodelocked sims. When do you think a split would make more sense than to size to protect it's entire value betting range?

Hey Nuno very nice video once again. In the last example, 96537 board, why do you think the solver only use block sizing? There are some spot on the turn the solver tends to do that. What's the reason behind such strategy?

Hi guys, I just took some coaching from some solid winners in the game.

I was told to apply single sizing on all flops to simplify my strategy.

Currently I'm trying to run a scripting using the pio 184 flop subsets. I entered a 33% sizing as default. However there are some flops that the solver would prefer a different sizing than my defau

How should I solve this problem smartly? Is the only option I have is to run sims individually one by one?

Post | loydrounder posted in NLHE: Studying poker in 2020

Hi, I'm a 100z player. Been playing poker seriously for almost a year now. When it comes to study, i'm so lost and have no direction at all.

I have never done any solver work before.. my studying tools are basically just runitonce essential vids, kanu cg course..

Can anyone give me some advice? should i start off reading some books about poker theory like application of nlhe? (since some old threads suggested it strongly, don't know if it's still valid today) Or should i devote my time to solver and run sims and learn this way?

Dec. 21, 2020 | 10:40 a.m.

Some beginner question need help to clear up the confusion...
1. I know solver is a gto solution vs a perfect strategy and is baseline of exploitative approach. However in reality we never play against opponents using that strategy(at least not low stakes). So doesn't that mean we might bluff too much or calling too much or folding too much when try to learn and play this strategy? And why all the good players still spending most of the time in solvers?

  1. How to correctly approach solver in a way that builds up good solid fundamentals?

Very gd point on pop tendencies. Guess he made an exploitative fold there, btw he didn't explain much tho.. H2, that's right.. Ppl tend to defend 4b polarized guess alot of TX and Ax but guess Tx doesn't make sense to size up.. However he certainly can have some weaker Ax like AJ Aq check back turn bet river but for myself.. I usually just crying call there.... Not much bluffs combo tho even 88 toJJ folded flop probably

Hi guys... I'm actually looking to join some study group for nl100 players. If there is any vacancies will be much appreciated.

Hi Thanks for your reply. H1 he mentioned villain never bet AJ or A5 here... and don't see many bluffs... But i agree seems quite a few bluffs he could have like JTss KJss or even some ambitious Qx turned into bluff?

H2 don't u think this is very close spot as hero almost never have an Ace? But we also blocks all of his flop float draws? like KQss QJss Q9ss etc....

For me... i almost call all the time in these spots... What's missing in my thinking process?? Feel much like im a calling station

Sept. 16, 2020 | 8:21 a.m.

Just saw this hand on YouTube from a goose.score playing rush nl200, He ended up folding in both hands which I usually would've talked myself into a call these spots.
As it seems we are under repping our hand.. I always think ppl try to push me off my weak range. Thinking there should be some leaks in my thinking process... Guys thoughts? What should be the proper thinking process looks like otr? I think i always level myself into a call too much this spots.

Post | loydrounder posted in NLHE: Zoom or Regular table

I think im solid at nl16 to 25 zoom.
Im pretty good adjust accordingly to each player types. But i just cant grind at nl25 zoom. Feels so hard to get a read during a hand.

Mostly this problem starts from preflop. Someone 3bets me. Im not so sure abt the right decision. sometime i just plan to cold call 3bet. And take it down when he checks. I usually wins alot of small pot n lose my whole buy in in these spots. I just cant grind.

Whats the best game to grind ? zoom or regular?
