Another request for the "This is PLO" course. A video about donking the river on board changing cards. Sometimes it feels natural and obvious but when ranges are wide and boards are dynamic, it's not always clear when or why OOP should lead when straights and/or flushes hit. I know this might not fit cleanly into any section of the course so far, but I think it's an interesting topic and I would appreciate a video on it. Thanks!

When can we expect the "Session Reviews" for Phil's This is PLO course? Looking forward to the as I've just finished working through the rest of the material.

I agree 100% that something like this is necessary. "If Vision-software was truly intended as a study software and not RTA, developers should not have an issue adding a 30 second-or so- delay "

Feb. 25, 2020 | 10:45 p.m.

Are there any safeguards to prevent Vision from being used on other sites?

I realize I'm late to the game here, but I'd appreciate more in this series. Please make another. Thanks.

Hey Phil,

Around 24:50 you fold T988r in the SB vs a CO open. Is that a standard fold? I assume even with one suit it becomes a defend.

I would be interested in seeing some PLO8 4-card footage. I saw Zach Freeman's few videos from several years ago but there is not much else out there. If anyone is interested in putting together some PLO8 videos, I'd appreciate it.

OUTCRY!! UPROAR!! What do we want? MOAR!! How much more? ALL OF IT!!

:P Thanks Phil. I for one would enjoy the rest of the series even if were 5 or more(more) videos. This series has a really good mix of high-level six-max and shorthanded play and has been very helpful for me.

At 23 min, the hand where you check back QT on AJ4K and the river brings the K. What is your plan if he pots the river as played?

Please keep the HU videos coming. Thanks Phil.

Really enjoyed the video Phil. Would like to see more HU for sure. Also, great news about the poker site. Good Luck.

Great video Kev. I vote for going through it all. Thanks.

How wide is everyone defending BB vs SB opens? How are do you chose your 3b bluffing hands? Do you prefer expanding your range by 3betting hands that are too weak to call, or hands that play better when called?

May 22, 2016 | 2:41 p.m.

I'm talking about the river spot. On the turn he still has the range advantage due to more AK, but that particular advantage becomes nullified.

May 22, 2016 | 2:34 p.m.

at 10:18 mark, is leading range for smallish sizing a reasonable play? Your range has more 6x, plenty of Ax, some fds, and no air? I expect villain to rarely bluff and would be in a tough spot with thin value hands such as KK, or even flushes.

Thanks for the video Kevin. Always enjoy your work. I also finally just figured out who you remind me of. You have nearly identical speech patterns and a similar voice to Sam Harris. Anyway, keep the good content coming. Cheers.

I realize there is no definite answer here as there are many factors where "it depends" but I was hoping for some insight on how our ability to realize equity changes when pots become multiway. Are we able to realize the roughly the same amount as a HU pot, less because there are more players to bet us off our equity, or more because the additional players force everyone to play more straightforward and bet less often with marginal holdings?

April 27, 2016 | 11:09 a.m.

This seems to be the place for general Preflop range questions. What do you guys think a reasonable "R" for multiway pots is? IE UTG opens, MP calls, we are in the big blind. What is a good estimate for percentage of our equity we will be able to realize?

Hey Nick,

We used to play together a little on Carbon poker(I was hate2cugo) a few years back. When you first where signed by RIO, I was excited to see someone from my small corner of the poker world be recognized and was hoping to be able to learn to beat you by watching your videos. After watching a few, I began to really enjoy them for their overall educational value. Over the last several months, I've occasionally wondered what happened to your videos as I really enjoyed them. I finally searched you here hoping for news of new videos and found this thread which I also enjoyed. GL in 2016 and keep posting.

Cheers,

Sam
