Hero opens SB to 3bb with TT, BB 3bet to 9bb. What should we do? In theory (looking at zenith preflop sims) TT is pure 4bet. But this is assuming BB is 3betting a lot more merged and balanced range than 5nl population. So if we assume BB is 3betting more polarized (and balanced) range, does our pure 4bet with TT become pure call, since if we 4bet we are just getting folds by A5 K6 type hands and play postflop oop vs 2 overcards or vs JJ QQ?
Next question is: if we assume BB is now 3betting more polar range than the solver suggestes and is value heavy, still having decent amount of bluffs but not enough, can we fold TT?
This is BB 3bet range from my database (not including me being BB) https://gyazo.com/b488dd88184ec574e35b6a28a641e0c8

Yestarday I got 1,27% EV loss with the nodelock and it was on the side of underbluffing, so BB had to fold a bit more which is not happening in reality, so I am fine with the result. For the volume, I played 1000 hands, 500 of them were ot 2 tabling and then tried 4 tables. But for now I will keep it on playing 2 tables.
Plan for today:
9am - 12am nodelocking other low connected flops to see if I can get them under 2% loss
9pm - 12pm Play 2 reg tables

Yestarday I didn`t do anything poker related.
One problem that occurs is that I can`t focus on doing one thing for a long period (by long I mean even 30-45min straight) of time. I mean when I start watch some RIO video, I watch it 10min and start another video or start doing something else. And the results are zero. So I start writing down periods of time for doing one thing and will not do anything else in that time and will turn off my phone.
Plan for today:
1. Watch Sauce`s last video for the toy games and doing the sim on my own - 10am - 12am
2. Make some more nodelocks on 9h7c6h flop for the cbet node. The goal here is to be less than 2% of the pot EV loss. - 12am - 2pm
3. 9pm - 12pm play 2 reg tables 5nl

Yesterday I only locked 9h7c6h flop BTN vs BB only once and get terrible results compared to the GTO. And for the volume I played only 250 hands, so it was not a very productive day. The problem with the hands was becauce a few days ago I disassembled (for the first time) my laptop to clear the fan because there was a big noise from it and maybe I didn`t assemble it back correctly because now I am barrely getting an internet connection and losing it entirely very often. So when I was playing the internet connection was droping very often and I closed the tables.
Plan for today:
1. Continue with nodelocking, hopefully I can distinguish the hand classes for these low flops and make some heuristics for all of them that can lose less than 2% of the pot.
Won`t put volume goals for today because the internet. I will disassemble the laptop again to see If i can fix it and if not will give it to someone else to fix it.

The study for today will be cbet node IP vs BB, SRP on low connected flops. I have looked at this kind of flops before, so today I will be nodelocking the cbet node and will compare the EV I get with my locked strategy to the equilibrium EV and tonight will play 500 hands again.

I will start updating the journal every morning with the goals of the day, because I feel I am lacking a structure. Also I won`t play 2nl zoom, but will start 2 5nl regular tables because I feel the reg tables are softer even at a bit higher stake and I want to move up as fast as possible.
For today the goals are just playing 500 hands at 2 regular tables. From tommorow I will add studying.

Hello, RIO community! I am another 22 years old trying to learn the great game of poker. My goal is to be able to make living playing it and the purpuse of this journal is to keep me in the right path. I will write here what I study in a regular basis. I wont put much volume for now. When I play it will be with the purpose of practising some new heuristic Ive made and I will be playing 1 or maximum 2 zoom tables of 2nl. In the beggining it will be 1 table because I dont know the preflop play very well and will stop the table to look at the ranges if I am not sure about some hand. I will go for 20-30k hands of 2nl and if my winrate is decent (maybe 7bb/100) I will move up. if I feel I make a good progress I may jump to 25nl. The studying will be looking at gto+ sims and analysing the database for a spot and making heuristics how to play it, but first I will finish the Brokos second book which I started reading today.
