Ipoker I very much agree on being somewhere at the top, he goes under the radar but seems just very solid across the board

"Luckily" the Canadian regulations is only in Ontario / a provincial decision and there are still a lot of big poker hubs in Canada ( Quebec (Montreal mostly) / Alberta / BC ) in Canada that will be unchanged , still feel bad for the pros and recs alike in ontario being forced to play on shady unregulated sites or small regulated sites that have less cash palyers + smaller fields for tournaments etc though. More regulations is awful for poker.

Think a instagram would be a lot more popular than a thread here - Albeit will cater to a different audience on average most likely ; Twoplustwo already fairly low volume of active posters nowadays but runitonce is even more dead - whereas basically everyone has an instagram and likes clicking through random content - Really enjoyed when benabadbeat would keep his instagram updated weekly with hands/results updates etc

At what point in your poker journey did you start having study sessions with friends? Do you find it has been a big unique help or just makes the regular studying you would do anyway more sustainable/enjoyable? Curious if you mostly moved up stakes with friends or just met them along the way at higher stakes

No concrete volume or hour goals for me, my main focus has been being in a good frame of mind / focused when playing so I am quick to cut sessions if I am not feeling it since my natural tendency is to mindlessly click buttons when tired/bored just to play poker. Probably avg ~1500 hands a session so only ~9-10k hands a week now just spread out more. My first year playing NL I hit a million hands then last year was closer to 350-400k so I guess similar to you trying to up my volume slightly to find a middleground this year.

Im still in the mix! I play 6 days a week but I think we often play different timezones + I mix in non stars sites; trying to establish myself back at 1k+ going into this new year so maybe we end up playing together more at some point!

+1 to the sleeping schedule thing, poker full time won't be a forever thing I think its worth keeping a schedule around the best games available to you to maximize EV and still plenty of hours in the day to enjoy the freedom poker gives aside from that. Also agree nice to see games coming slightly back to life in the recent week or so

Hey man, randomly stumbled on this thread enjoyed reading through it in one sitting, Fun to hear other regs thoughts / opinions beyond just a SN you play poker vs. Certainly been a rough June with stars games being dead! Hard to tell how much is other sites taking players vs lots of people just enjoying the nice weather! Probably a healthy mix of both + regulations in diff countries etc etc

Love the post , What is your opinion on new stars client changes not allowing you to see number of a players entries in any part of lobby for zoom? I guess you just keep playing same timezone you know is good already? But hard to scout 500z lobbies etc ofc

Just a heads up for future videos in the top right you have the hand strength enabled so it gives away what your hand strength is! Love the vid and idea though and I am enjoying grinding through your videos and feel I am learning a lot. The key concepts videos alone were golden.

The avatar idea is cool, the fact that tables will be anonymous definitely kills the majority of my excitement for the poker site though unfortunately, I enjoy knowing who I am playing against / the competition of beating a certain player who might be up a bunch on me or having someone play different vs me and me adjusting to how they are adjusting etc, I feel the strategy is much wider and more entertaining when you know the competition. Making tables anonymous lowers the strategy and skill cap to the game and I just don't enjoy it at all / have tried and gotten bored of sites that had those features. Best of luck though hope it works out for you guys!

Any hints on if the rewards system will be a similar re-hash of a tier/rakeback system or something new ?
