Post | OMGNotAgain posted in NLHE: Best line?

I've talked to some friends about this situation on the flop (I don't have de hand from HEM):

UTG - Hero

BTN - reg (21/15/ Raise Cbet 15% - 24k hands)

Preflop

Hero raise from UTG with AcTh

BTN call

Flop (0.72$)

Td9c5h

Hero c-bet 0.55$ pot, BTN raise 1.40$

What's the best line here?

There was a problem with the converter, I wrote the action under every street.

- Alucard :)

Jan. 23, 2014 | 11:18 p.m.

I would 3b preflop here, for value.

As played:

I like the lead OTF, especially if they are passive players.

I would play the turn and river the same. We still have hands to get value from on the turn, And the river is a clear c/f.

Thanks a lot for ur answers, but I'm still not convinced. imo he has a flush here most of the time, a small flush most likely.

With Tx he folds on the flop facing a big raise OOP, i don't think he is calling with a SD either (34??)

Can you please me what's ur thought process? With what range he's calling a big raise on the flop and donks the turn?

Thanks guys! We already had 2 sessions, analyzed some hands, the members are all cool. It's a good start.

We have established some minimum requirements to remain in the group for each member:

- must play 20k+ hands/month

- must be present at 50%+ of group sessions

- register one session/month playing at 4 tables

- must be active in every session

- change study materials (links, books, video...) with the group

Post | OMGNotAgain posted in Chatter: Poker Study Group schedule

Hi there,

I just started a uNL poker study group and would like some opinions about the most
effective ways of learning.

What methods have you used to get the best
results? (live sessions, analyzing hhs, watching vids, theory
discussions ...).

I would be grateful if the members with experience in study groups will post some examples of group schedule to adopt.

Thanks in advance

Don't do hero calls on the river at NL5! He's looking like a loose passive, they reraise only with the nuts.
Make a note if you see someone doing this, but I wont be worried to much about this at this microstakes.

Comment | OMGNotAgain commented on K4
w34z3l is right.

This is not standard at all imo. Is NL5 and you call OOP with K4, that's to loose.
On the flop is not an easy call either, with small pair and no draw, this is why you don't know where u are on the turn and river, the CO has lots of 5's i he's range.

Don't post results

I would bet bigger on the flop, and I'm AI on the turn.

Jan. 3, 2013 | 12:58 p.m.

I agree with drunkkiller that preflop 64 is a little bit to loose at these stakes, there are many other good spots.
What's he's fold to C-bet on the flop and turn?

I think I would play this hand the same way with no other stats available.

Jan. 3, 2013 | 12:49 p.m.

This change was indeed necessary.

Jan. 1, 2013 | 5:58 p.m.

imSiank0 is right!

It is hard to get answers on so many questions posted in one day. At one time the "NLH low stakes' forum had 15 questions of yours one after another. Who do you think has the time and patience to analyze these hands? A pro? :)

Just select few hands when you do your session review, hands that deserve in your opinion to be discussed with other players (pros or not). This is what I did, and I've got good and logical responses with arguments at all of them.

To me it does not matter if the answer comes from a professional or from another player, as long as it is accompanied by arguments.

Don't forget this site is still at the beginning, it takes time to build a strong community but runitonce is on the right path. Keep up the good work guys!
