thank you for your respone! I sometimes call because I believe a bit of a nit in some spots and now I understand It was a quiet clear fold on the turn, yes I will make detailed notes on what he showdowns with in the future thanks!

thank you for your reply, I will try to take this account next time I am in this kinda spot thanks

July 26, 2020 | 3:41 p.m.

thank you for your reply, yes I was doubting a bit on the turn as he seemd to be aggressive at least preflop, but I can agree with the turn fold as it smashed his 3bet range sets/straight

thank you Lewis Harkes for the answer, I agree if you understand the theory better then I have a better starting point I will take this into consideration and this should have been a call at least (yes I do believe he 4bets with A2s A3s A4s type hands even if he is in MP)

thank you Scoopkid for the answer, yes I wanted to call the 4bet but I was unsure next I will call the 4bet OOP and play accordingly.

river was difficult because the turn bet was polarized I would have called any non flush river maybe he plays AJ or 1010 with a flushcard or JJ like this but I wasn't sure because I had no read on villain at all.

thank you for the reply, yes river I was doubting a lot because the Q is a very bad card to just tripple barrel bluff against me without have any hands on me, I had no reads at all so I just called as he could have missed draws or lower Qx hand.

indeed, because I lost the thank it just wasn't sure without any reads you for the reply!

hey Henry thanks for the good explanation on all the spots.
I had one question about the AQ hand in this case you had no stats would you still make this bluff on the river for example if villain would have a WTSD of 28%+? so a player who would call the 99/1010/JJ combo's more likely than a reg with a WTSD of say 21%.

March 9, 2020 | 7:44 p.m.

haa no pokerstars.it but i'm aware of my mistake my mind thought because the player had very big stacks he might be bluffing more often but without any reads this just is not true!

Feb. 5, 2019 | 10:02 a.m.

thank you guys, really appreciate it! yeah most likely he had AK much more combo's or AQ type hand.

Feb. 1, 2019 | 11:41 a.m.

If a board comes A105 I have A10 and turn 5 and villain has AK/AA because of min 3bet preflop does he have a better 2 pair(with AK) if a 9 river falls? I am confused!

Jan. 31, 2019 | 10:03 p.m.

BB is a fish that's why I think he would call lighter hands like 810s, and offcoure 88, 1010 would be a 3bet a lot of the times and maybe call with AQ,Q9 I was not sure what to do? just fold vs very big all in raise on river? without any reads indeed my default play would be villain is not capable of bluffing missed draws.

Jan. 31, 2019 | 10:36 a.m.

But I do not agree with the sizing only because i'm playing against a fishy player just value and bet 2/3 on each flop isn't that better? called draw on flop/turn offcourse biased in this case but in general it was not a reg player, still just bet 1/3 on flop?

So what do we do here on the river, i'm quite confused of villain's line seems to be a reg 4 tabling deepstacked on each table.
I thought it might be a spazz with a missed flushdraw as I am only betting 1/2 pot, sets would all raise most likely flop and straights on the turn a lot..
Not sure what to do on the river without any stats player was playing 18/10 only 30 hands.

Thanks for the comment im still doubting a lot of river spots OOP especially spots like this so this makes it a bit more clearer

I made a mistake betsizing wise I should bet 1/2/ 2/3 pot flop and 1/2 pot turn so the pot would be around $15 bigger i'm only not sure what to do on the river when I checkback? always against KQ/Q9 as he did not shove on the turn? or could he have AK/AQ lower A and A10 and just shove ?
again no stats only know the player was playing 1 table.

Jan. 20, 2019 | 10:13 p.m.

wow thank you for the clear explanation Jbarez and belrio42 makes me think, offcourse the result is not what we want i'm sure he would checback topset (JJ) as well. I have no reads so i'm expecting quite a strong range with the turn checkraise lower Sets/straights as it went 3way on the flop.

Jan. 20, 2019 | 10:10 p.m.

Hello i'm new to cashgames I'm not sure if this is a cooler or just played badly. Im trying to get value from any Set/2pair on the turn mostly lowersets.
Should I call the turn raise?

Hi yes it depends on the level, I do 3bet fairly often about 9% so i also have 99 in my range and sometimes even 22 depending on the opponent, because i'm 3betting a lot with weaker hands too i want too stay aggresive on the turn but was always confused if I would get enough odds on the turn in100bb spots.
