April 5, 2021 | 12:27 a.m.

Would you give me a database review HawksWin show how to analyse population

This is My Lifetime Graph for 2NL/5NL combined

April 4, 2021 | 11:48 p.m.

They maybe in my HM archive yes i have i beat 2NL struggled at 5 though i feel i now have enough knowledge to beat 5NL just need to play it a ton so going to get back to it in a few weeks when i study a solver i don't really study frequencies i look for patterns and i feels like i have a good understanding of how a solver works so i when my subscription runs out i wont be renewing it i just struggle playing 2NL all the time when i know i could probably do well higher say 10NL but for me it all comes down to capital i would probably have to spend 6months saving for a 10NL bankroll or a year playing 2NL/5NL because i really feel like 20BI is bad advice

April 4, 2021 | 11:14 p.m.

And Playing shortdeck did not help so i wiped all my hands off my database and decided to get in the lab for a month

April 4, 2021 | 9:47 p.m.

HawksWin I lost most of it at 10NL and just lacked discipline to move back down and play 2NL your right i should be moving along smoothly but unfortunately has not worked out but i am definitely not giving up either way i will redeposit again even if i have to save up but i want to play above 5NL so what i am learning means something

Post | Stoic-Centurion947 posted in NLHE: Making A Write Up PDF

Do anyone think if i put together a full comprehensive write up of all the spots i have studied it could be worth anything to anyone and i am looking to make a little side income for a bankroll for one last shot at poker and since i am disabled and cannot get a job like the average person i am trying to raise like $400 to $1K do you think its possible?

April 4, 2021 | 3:36 p.m.

you can also practice vs GTO bots with random styles of play or drill spots

April 1, 2021 | 11:27 p.m.

HawksWin check it out they're still in beta they are still adding features i pay $49 a month premium is $89 you get a free trail for 24hrs too

April 1, 2021 | 11:26 p.m.

RunItTw1ce I love wizard think the price is brilliant and you don't need a powerful PC as its browser based i suggest changing your raise colors in settings makes it much easier when viewing filters

April 1, 2021 | 11:04 p.m.

It already has predetermined bet sizes and you can choose one and look at how its effects ranges and responses usually its small large overbet all in and it uses predetermined ranges it has 500NL and now 50NL its GTO Wizard its a browser based solver

April 1, 2021 | 10:59 p.m.

at NL2 my opinion is that flush draws and straight draws are very under XR in general from any position and his sizing choice is terrible he his only repping Qx or a set but sets would go bigger even fish want to get the money in with a set so to me he is over valuing top pair so i would get the money in asap or atleast call down with As blocker

April 1, 2021 | 9:01 p.m.

Like RunItTw1ce says TT is choosing XR as a pure strat vs 3/4 pot bet and mixing vs a small size

April 1, 2021 | 5:30 p.m.

First of all TT is a 4bet pre we are checking our entire range 99% on this flop never donking your basically donking into an uncapped range i have filtered for your highest equity hands and as you can see donking is a terrible idea with TT your range has a lot of trash and you don't have an equity advantage

April 1, 2021 | 5:25 p.m.

yes 2NL for example they are not going to be 3betting say J4s-J7s same for weak suited Tx same goes for the offsuit combos i feel like villain's 3bet range is basically the same from all positions so I'm going to 4bet TT+ AQs+ and call the other parts of my range i can even just jam JJ+ AK know how value heavy villains range is

April 1, 2021 | 4:37 p.m.

as you can see BB has Ax os hands and Jx s which SB does not have that's all i meant should have wrote that see I'm improving already haha adding more reasoning to my thought process

April 1, 2021 | 10:37 a.m.

i just used my range explorer I'm not any just looking at both strategies individually we are not protecting with top set we are just balancing arent we? putting top set so we have strong hands in there too i was just looking at the differences in how both ranges were constructed i am still learning RunItTw1ce and i know you are a veteran of this forum and a much better player than me so any advice would be greatly appreciated

SB vs BB 3bet Flop Strategy

Flop T♥9♦7♣ Rainbow

SB (caller) Flop pure check OOP (47% Equity)

SB (FLOP) Range Construction

Note we should not have JJ+ AKo AQs+ in our calling range preflop 4bet 3x the 3bet size. but i feel like in my games AK JJ QQ maybe called at some frequency

The callers range SB consists of more Top pairs, weak Ax, low pocket pairs, gutshots, and OESD we have more made hands then BB

BB (3bettor) is mixing betting 60% and checking 40% (53% Equity)

BB (FLOP) Range Construction/Sizings

BB (3bettor) has all the overpairs on this board as SB should 4bet them in theory
BB also has slightly more higher sets and less draws
BB has more 2 pair combos and less straights

68% Pot Sizing

Our betting strategy on this flop is we bet big 68% with our overpairs as to me they need protection with the flop being so coordinated also we are betting our straights and 2pair combos exclusively for this size.

20% Pot Sizing

We mainly use this size with backdoor flush and over cards AJs KJs top set and hands like J7s T6s so mainly our weak drawing hands and we put top set in there to strengthen our range

Note Our main checks consist over low pocket pairs and medium strength value hands

SB vs 68% Pot Sizing

One thing to note is we are never slow playing T♠9♠ no backdoor flush and we are mixing T♣9♣ jamming 45% also T8s is a pure jam also we are mainly jamming KJs with backdoors also 8♥6♥ one combo is pure jamming all other 86s are mixing mainly choosing call

Sets are a pure mix mostly choosing raise 45% pot

We are calling with all our range apart from dominated draws 65s low pairs 22-66 and low suited Ax A2s-A6s these are our folds

SB vs 20% Pot Sizing

We are never jamming vs this size mainly choosing a raise strategy the hands that we were jamming vs the bigger size now just raise close to pot like T9s T8s 86s is mixing same with KJs mostly choosing call or a smaller raise size 40% pot we are also mixing in some offsuit broadways as semi bluffs with backdoor equity and we are now calling all our low pairs

Our folds come from A2s A5s and our dominated draws though 65s is a mix mostly folding 22/33 are folding 22% of the time

April 1, 2021 | 4:08 a.m.

must be the way you wrote hand one he got lucky then just standard hand 2 yes definitely that flop check call and 3bet larger OOP around 15bbs
