I never fold pre in this spot, you getting such a good price to call. I would check the flop too, because I would mix it up with check and bet OTF. The reason for check is that, I would check alot of weaker Kx and all Jx for pot control reason... As played well done

You are right :) . For consider folding we are way to strong. My Options would be to bet or check. And for checking we have one Pair hands with are also good BC. I would bet because we will get Value from worse, also some Herocalls who knows.

July 17, 2014 | 2:03 p.m.

I don't turn TT-JJ into a Bluff here

July 17, 2014 | 12:13 p.m.

What do you guys think ? Should i feel dirty check-folding in such spot or ?

That was a joke or ?!?

July 17, 2014 | 12:05 p.m.

yeah, dont know. in the game my thougts was Kx wont value bet because flush FH straights are got there. So i don't saw what he likes to turn into a bluff? Tx or Ah Blocker Qh Blocker?

Do you think he is valuebetting Kx here because Tx won't call a third street?

Jan. 24, 2014 | 11:55 a.m.

cool -i am not so familiar how loose we can stack off in Heads Up Pots. But my feeling was also that this one in a 3bet Pot is correct.

SB: $200
BB: $530.25 (Hero)
Preflop ($3.00) (2 Players)
Hero was dealt A K
SB raises to $5, Hero raises to $18, SB calls $13
I 3bet around 20% and he folds to 3bet around 50% ev. little more.
HE is also capable of 4betting + bluffing.
Flop ($39.00) 5 3 T (2 Players)
Hero bets $22, SB calls $22
Turn ($83.00) 5 3 T A (2 Players)
Hero bets $45, SB calls $45
River ($173.00) 5 3 T A J (2 Players)
Hero bets $169, SB calls $115, and is all in
OTR i am clueless. I don't know what the best line is in this spot.

He can have Tx.
T9,T8s,T7s,JT,QT,KT

He can have fdraws: 98s,87s,T9s,QTs,

AJ,AQ,A9,AT - which peels the flop.

Please Help me :)

Flop ($11.00) J 4 5 (2 Players)
whoisangelAA checks, Coldfive bets $6.25, whoisangelAA raises to $20, Coldfive calls $13.75
Such Boards cbet Villain near to 100% (OPR 96%) and he likes to call lines which are not standard for him.
He is capable of Floating and Bluffing, also Turnin made Hand into Bluff, but don't know if he do it
with this sizing.

I decide to Raise this Board 4 Value. Fist he is not Folding much. The Line is not STandard.
Turn ($51.00) J 4 5 9 (2 Players)
whoisangelAA bets $38, Coldfive calls $38
River ($127.00) J 4 5 9 2 (2 Players)
whoisangelAA checks, Coldfive bets $174, whoisangelAA calls $174
I bet the turn 4 Value after his call i ch the RIver and have a decision to make. He knows that I
have Jx most of the time but what can he have?

- Has he seen you 4betting with non-AA hand often?  You mentioned
your 4b was 12%, and that should contain lots of non-AAxx hands.

Yeah, the dynamic was aggresive and he knows i am capable of 4betting light.

- Do you expect him to flat KK to your 4b, or just 5b jam?

He Flats all my 4bets, I never saw him shoving to any bet.

- How has he been playing postflop in 3b/4b pots so far?

He was calling Light, but give up many spots on the turn / river. Dont know, maybe he thought it's the time to fight back. Also he saw me folding a ton vs Big Raises.

BB: $119.07
SB: $72.92 (Hero)
Preflop ($0.75) (2 Players)
Hero was dealt A 7 7 A
Hero raises to $1.25, BB raises to $3.75, Hero raises to $11.25, BB calls $7.50
He was very Aggro, 3Bet a ton (50%). I adjust by 4betting wide 4 Value (12%).

Flop ($24.50) J 5 5 (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $10.50, BB calls $10.50
First my sizing on the flop should be smaller to make it 3 street, dont know why I made that sizing, maybe multitabling. what do you think about 6-8$?
Turn ($45.50) J 5 5 K (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero checks
How do you play the turn?
River ($45.50) J 5 5 K 5 (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $20.75, BB raises to $97.32, and is all in, Hero folds
What about the river sizing? Which sizing you choose? Do you have Bluffs here? I obv. Uncapped
Final Pot
BB wins $84.50

Think with betting an opponent will peel lots of turns and river cards. So we make the pot bigger and bigger with no fold equity, only to face a though decision later.

But is x/f with overpairs + backdoor fdraw + backdoor straight a little bit to tight?

2, 3,4, k maybe Q and clubs we can continue on...

Oct. 1, 2013 | 6:36 a.m.

I like to cbet a more polarized range. I would put this hand in my x/c range. With the intention to x/jam sime turn vs an aggressiv opponent.  In this case like x/c to keep the pot smaller.

Oct. 1, 2013 | 6:31 a.m.

A friend of mine played this hand yesterday. We both have different lines we would take.

Opponent: Standard Reg/little Passiv - dont get it in light

Our Hand: KsJsKc5c

BTN Raise 3BB and Hero 3bets 9BB , BTN Calls

Flop: 9c 7h 3h

My Friend: Cbets the Flop, and Cbets Safe Turns.

I: Would like to check the Flop, because dont think we get Villain to Fold alot of his Range. Also Villain can play very easy on different Turn Cards and will make our life as hell.

After checking the Flop, we can Betting or x/R some Turn Cards or we still keeps checking.

What your Play on the Flop and Why?

What do you do on different Turn Cards?

Thanks

Sept. 30, 2013 | 11:04 p.m.

I think raising is good. Because when u only raise nuts here, i think its exploitive too. Including 2nd nuts and some bluffs will make his small bet not so effektive.

Sept. 28, 2013 | 4:39 p.m.

I like the call very much on the flop. Maybe we can split our Range.

We also will lead any 5 and will check any 7? So we are a little less readable in this situation.

What do you mean?

Sept. 27, 2013 | 6:20 a.m.

without Backup, first to act vs two other Good Players behind - i would x/F it. We have better hands to Get it in. vs two random hands we only have 25% Equity

Sept. 25, 2013 | 12:40 p.m.

Comment | whoisangel commented on AA88 deep flop-play

why not potting?

do we like to make his continue range weaker? or do we like to stop him from continuing?

I block scary rundowns who will raise and i dont like to see a light call from the btn.

so with the pot bet the BTN thinks twice to call, because has to fear leverage and the HJ x/R.

Also a pot bet signals the HJ to dont make a move on me.

I will pot here with hands that needs protection and hands which likes to get it in.

Sept. 25, 2013 | 12:23 p.m.

I am @Work now... so i will try to give my train of thoughts later. But Thumbs Up, what i nice Post :)
